The Force Unleashed: Whats Your Verdict?

The Digital Molecular Matter and Euphoria engines are only employed on the PS3 and 360 versions. Unfortunately the hardware of the Wii cannot handle all of the complex physics calculations. My best friend has it for Wii, and he's begging me to bring my 360 over so he can play it to the awesomest extent.

Is the Digital Matter bla bla not on PS2??

Hijack and up'n my post count!

CALL OF DUTY 4 STILL ROCKS...HARDER!!!!!

Just kidding, my son loves playing the game on 360...so we're happy.

Thanks for clearing that up. I know the Wii is a copy of the PS2 version graphics and all so I guess if the Wii diesn't have it then the PS2 won't. The only difference of the Wii is the "motion control" and the verses (which I have to say is pretty cool). That makes sense about the Euphoria when you think about it.....Darn the Wii for its lesser abilties. Oh well....I just have to wait to get it on the PS3 whenever I do eventually get a PS3.

I got it for the Wii when it came out on tuesday. Well, its a good game and very fun but dissappoiinted at the same time. What happened to that physics emulator they were useing where when you throw something into a piece of wood it shatteres differently:confused?? I haven't noticed that at all and as far as smarter AI....not there. I haven't seen stormtroopers grab for each other when they are hanging...all I've seen is them get stuck in cornors and just take some force lightning. Had a dissapointing boss fight where this certain boss some how got stuck and just sat there while I lightning him and boss over:facepalm. Also on the Wii...you feel like you are just waving your arms in a spaz fashion and the character will do something. I have no control as to what he does. You have to move the wii remot foward to jab...well that may work less than 50% of the time. Overall.........fun game, glad I bought, disappointed with lucasarts and whoeve worked on t he game. For as long as it took I expexted way better. Also does anyone else feel like the story was rushed......

SPOILER!!!!!!!

WHen Darth vader turn on the apprentice and "kills" him...where did that come from??? You were fine, you went to go see Vader, then BAM vader kills you and sceen is over. :angry I WANTED MORE!! Did anyone alse feel this?

He kills (or tries) because the emperor has tracked him, and knws that vader is trying to double cross him, his only option is to kill the apprentice or face the emperor, and vader wasnt ready to face the emperor.

The book is excellent:) read it:)

I hate the locking system with a passion. It's so random and hard for it to lock on to what I want to pick up, especially when there's a ton of stuff in a tight group.

Other than that I love it. Picked it up yesterday, but stuck on the boss battle on Raxus Prime.

Yeah, I'm having fun with it. Same lil' glitches it sounds like everyone else has been having, but super fun! I love force throwing Jawas! :)

I've got it for 360

Hey stormrider thanks for clearing that up. It just happened out of nowhere and I figured a little more story would have really helped that sequence. I will def check out the book. I am sure the book makes up for what is missing from the game.

Ok, I bought it when it came out, and now, two days later, I've almost beaten it. The story is going by too fast. With all the hype They were making for this game, I got less than I expected. I have the Wii version, which lacks in the graphics a little. It hasn't frozen, and there aren't any glitches for mine. However, I agree that this game is good just for renting.

I got a free 360 version Monday night for doing the SF event. Hopefully I will get to try it out this weekend, my son has been playing it nonstop since Tuesday morning.

Oh man, Ive been playing on a PS3 this whole time, I dont think the story is going by that fast at all! No glitches, the graphics are amazing, the physics engine is awsome and slicing AT-ST's in half is just kick ***, not to mention bringing down that star destroyer.

One thing that I do like about the story is that it clearly shows the transitional period between what is episode 3 and 4's time frame. I just find it kinda cool, cause we've never really seen that, or at least I havent.

Back to the Darktrooper thing though...I now know that it won't appear in this game, but it does clearly mention it with the Purge Trooper's story in the databank...

I noticed that on the Wii. Felt I was just flailing around. Also I can be standing still not even moving my controller and he keeps doing force pushes. I run and force push everything...annoying. I just don't think it was as well done as for the 360 and PS3.

got the PS2 version my son ( he's 6) has beat it already:( I haven't even got an off duty day to play it yet. From the bits I have got to play I LOVE the game BUT

-IT's ONLY 1 PLayer major not cool!!!!
-linear story line ( I enjoyed the KOTOR freedom a lot more)
-Mandalorians as BAD guys??? NOT COOL!!!! ( In the kotor series ya even got to use a mando THAT was awesome)

Cool parts customizable suits and lightsabers and powers.
major doing collateral damage:)
Did I Say a HOT pilot:)

Okay, just found a glitch that's seriously peeving me off. When fighting Vader, he'll pick you up in a force grip, and throw you against a wall, unless you rapidly tap "B" (on 360). Well, if you're right in the middle of mashing the saber swinging button, that will cancel out your "B" mashing, as if you hit the wrong button, so no matter how many times I hit B, he still slams me against a wall.

Oh, and bringing down that Star Destroyer brought out some seriously colorful language.

I could deal with the target system (or lack thereof), while frustrating it was passable, but certainly not up to par with what we'd expect. I forgave the game for that, it was annoying but didn't kill the game for me.

What I seriously was mad about were how dang difficult the final battle with the emperor was. Playing on Sith Warrior (Normal) it was hard as all hell and took me an hour to figure out the trick needed to beat him. Since when can the Emperor FLY?!?!? I know as a strong force wielder it is certainly possible but it just looked stupid. And that old fart fights so dirty too, cheap tactics non-stop! Once I figured out the trick, it was pretty easy, but still unfair how weak all of your attacks are compared to the 5 direct hits it takes to kill you.
I understand that if you choose the Dark Side ending and fight Vader instead, it will be even harder! Since there are no littler enemies to off in order to regain your health. I am NOT looking forward to that when I do my next run on Sith Master (extra hard). I just know the amount of tourettes coming out of my mouth will be downright blasphemous, colorful language indeed.

The ending was well worth it though, and how well they made the story tie into the events leading up to ANH was spine tingling. It made up for all the flaws, for me anyway. So in the end, all the cons were greatly outweighed by the merits!

And also, I KNOW I wasn't the only one who was totally digging the bounty hunter's costume Starkiller wore on Bespin!! But he had two right gauntlets, wut?

The book is a 8, the game is a 6, together having read the book first, the adventure is a 9.

I suggest reading the book, because then the game flows and makes a lot more sense.
