yeah, been playing it since I got it a few hours ago, but I decided to let my xbox cool off for abit![]()
Looking forward to it. Some of the reviews are not that good. But they said that about the first game, which I thought was awesome.
glad the game is that good ....getting the collectors edition later today
I have to wait until Christmas to play it because it's one the gifts we're getting our son. Excited to hear all about it though.

Got the book so far its decent...the first one was great so Im sure itll be cool as well. Cant afford it right now but will have it when its come down a bit in price
so i just beat tfu2 and i have to say other than being really short, it was a great game. terrible star wars, but a great game. super fast non-stop action, over the top holy craaaaaaaap moments, and an overall more solid game play experience than the first. it still has a few problems. targeting is better but it still kinda sucks. recovery time from getting hit has been reduced a little so you don't die as often because you can't react since you're still recovering from the last hit. and there just seems to be an awful lot of yelling in this game.
as a gaming experience i highly recommend this game. but as a part of the star wars saga... it's like going to a family reunion to pick up chicks. wait, no... i had a better analogy for this... it's more like that guy that went to CV and jumped out of the bushes to try to molest Adrianne Curry and got his butt kicked!
I'll pick it up when it hits the bargain bin. Reviews are saying that's its worse than the first game, which I felt was barely worth the $30 I spent on it. I can't justify spending significant money on a 6 hour storyline for a game (especially if its not that great) with no multiplayer.
I enjoyed the game, gonna enjoy unlocking everything too. I agree it's WAY to short. I felt it could have gone on longer and still have been great. Storyline-wise yeah it's screwing with things, but George has been doing that since Ep I. The graphics were pretty sweet, mine just got a lil jumpy and the end of the gorog battle arena cut scene. The real squealer for me was getting the Fett costume, call me dorky but I entertained myself for hours playing as Boba while swinging around the lightsabers while quote line from Robot Chicn Star Wars II "Whoa Boba's got himself a lighsaber!"
I picked it up the CE a couple of hours ago on my way home from work cant wait to try it out
I just bought the first one on Steam..the Ultimate Sith Edition..30 bucks isn't bad. I hardly ever pay 60 bucks for a game. They are wayyy to short for that cost.
I just unlocked the 30 minute cut-scene of George Lucas counting his money!
I had a troop for the release here I am suited up.

I have to say.. i'm disappointedToday I got to the store and bought TFU II, and some hourse later it was done... And I was like... hey... was that all ?
To start with, when the trailers came out, I was like WOW this will be the best star wars game ever(allmost). Everything looked so cool! they started with a totaly awsome trailer at the arena, and then at kamino, then it came 2 other clips released... Yoda, and Boba
and I was like, No the clip was too short, I wana see more, why just 30 sec clip? Some weeks later it came 2 nice comercials, when starkiler fights vader. They were cool too, but not as cool as the boba clip or kamino trailer... well, I bought the game, and as I said, I got disepointed, why? becouse 1. it was waaay to short. 2. I had hoped for a better explenation of this starkiller clone thing, what realy happend? I had hoped that vader would told him everything at the end, or at least someone eles.. 3. Yoda was only in 1 scene, and so did boba.. I had hope for something more then just some 5 secounds clips and the 2 other 30 secounds clip that allready had been released.. 4. there was some glitches and when I played it felt like lucasarts had speeded up the progres to make it released much faster.. they could have fixed some stuff. 5. I didn't like how the story turned out.. they could have made it so much cooler... it was like, he escaped from kamino, he found kota at a arena, he got stuck at a rebel cruser, and then he got back to kamino again... oh sory, forgot the dagobah (that was like 1 min jumping around in the forest, collecting some holocrowns, and then a short movie of him and yoda...).. 6. Starkiller was much more powerfull now, then in TFU I, but why did he had such a hard time fighting vader ? Thought it would be so much more easyer now... was it all becouse of the cloning progres stuff, so he got a little bit weaker.. becouse to me he seemd so much more powerful then be4...
Well, I realy loved the first TFU, and I gues I had too high expectations of TFU II
But yes, I liked the new 2 saber style, and the graphic, and the challenges... but I had expected something more...
I can see where you're coming from, I think they didn't have Vader reveal everything because I get the feeling they're gonna do that in TFU 3. I was kinda wanting to see more movie tie-ins. In the first you got to see the very creation of the rebellion, leia, bail organa, the building of a super star destroyer, the emperor etc... This one it was all stormtroopers of various specializations, and droids. I would have LOVED some varying enemies. I too was hoping for more Boba. Yoda is a whole entire different story. This took place after the extermination, and starkiller saw the jedi temple and the masters created in junk, how did he not realize he was in front of YODA?! I mean had it been thousands of years after sure I can see, but to stand in front of the most famous Jedi master right after the fall of the Jedi and not know..... On the other hand, am I the only one who's jaw dropped upon seeing the gorog for the first time? Brought back some God of War memories.
Yeah, pretty disappointing how short the game was. At least you get to unlock the Boba costume once you beat the game. It's pretty fun playing Unleashed difficulty as him![]()
if you want to play as boba fett, use the code MANDALORE
I beat the demo and loved it, I don't know why it's getting such horrible reviews on amazon
My guess it's because of the shortness and repetitiveness of the game. I had the game beat on the medium setting in a single day, and mostly it's the same enemies the entire way through, war droid, the sith saber guys etc... Most of everything is beat by simply hitting it with your saber repeatedly, don't even really need force powers. The 2 major things that happen with other characters ie: Yoda and Boba Fett only happen during cut scenes and there's no chance to go up against them, and in the end it's basically a recap of TFU 1. Don't get me wrong, I do like the game, the graphics were amazing, even better than TFU 1, and the first sighting of the Gorog almost made me **** my pants, BUT the game seemed like they rushed to finish it. I mean it starts on kamino, goes to the arena, cut scene in dagobah, then off to the ship, back to kamino and game over. I want a game with graphics on this level but has the playtime of KOTOR.
half the time I play these - its simply to watch the graphics and the story and to think... "wow, thats cool" I still have not beat FU1 yet though...
It's a great game i think. although yea it was really short and didnt explain the cloning proccess other than tht i really did enjoy the game. i loved the storyline
have someone the dlc??
That was the point. You're not supposed to know if Starkiller actually lived or not -- and if the Starkiller you play in TFU II is the same Starkiller from TFU I.
This is why I rent games. Major "Block Buster Games" that only feature single player (IE Assassin's Creed, both TFU's and Fable) are only 4-10 hours long. I beat TFU II in less than 4 hours on medium.
What makes me sick is that they will release a DLC and several thousand people will buy it. ICK. That's just WRONG.
The whole Force Unleashed Saga would have made a better movie than video game. Think about it, you spend 10 minutes mashing lightning combos, throw some stuff, jump around a bit, then watch a cutscene where SOMETIMES you get to press a button.
Don't get me wrong, I love the games, the atmosphere and the storyline -- I just hate the length, and the fact that Lucasarts gets away with charging 60 dollars for a very very short game.
