Hey Guys...
Well i've been on and off the boards lately...life happens.
I just celebrated my 1 year anniversary this past Monday.

EDIT; My wife gave me FP armor as a wedding gift. I got her a Yorkie terrier.

And I wanted to share the news of what my wife decide to give me as my anniversary gift...

It isn't mint by any means, but i love it... I do have to check for other C3 vette issues but all in all it is a sound vette.

It is an 1980 w/an L-82 V8 small-block, I need to get a whole new exhaust system..
I'm thinking Headers straight to mufflers minus cat..
and a new paint job later on(Black).

Now the real question... should I get the Vanity plate that says...

"Boba" = Boba Vette ;)

thx

the front plate should read "Fetts' Vette" 8) thats a no-brainer! very nice by the way.(y) I love the early 80's style. :love(before they got all funky for almost 2 decades!):confused its basically a perfected 70's style. I think everyone should own a Vette before they die! someday I will get one.:cry

HOLY ......!!!!!!!!! That is super cool man!!!! Looks like the one marky mark had in Boogie Nights!!! Dude...you gotta keep it the original color!! ;)

Sweet! For the exhaust though I would say headers into cats then 2 1/2 to 3 inch pipes straight out the back. That makes for an extremely nice, low growl and will get you past any emissions inspections. Or you could go with the classic sidepipes. They sound alright too, but can burn the hide off of your leg if you aren't careful getting out.

Thx guys,
Dirk Digglers vette was a 1977 vette...(y)

Hey T,
I live in Canada .. so emissions aren't as strict as US.:eek:
but the 3" pipes sound sweet.
