firefly costuming

is there a group that is dedicated to costuming as characters from the show "firefly" similar to the 501st? at least an online community, or am i just going to have to wait for things to come up on the rpf? i ask because there are a few prop replicas i would like to add to my collection.

I haven't been active over there for quite a while, so I can't vouch for the state of the forum these days.

I've considered a Mal costume for Star Wars Celebration. It's not so different it couldn't blend in, yet for those who recognize it, it's still cool. Haven't actually started putting together a costume, though.

There's Browncoats.com. It's more of a resource site though. I can't recall any dedicated forum like this or the RPF for Firefly. Seems like most of the costume stuff for Firefly I come across is on the RPF.
