I just noticed how many Star Wars names that are associated with this! here is what I have confirmed... Carrie Fisher, Ray Park, Matt Wood, and Billy Dee Williams... plus other notable cameos... Seth Rogen, Jason Mewes, Ethan Suplee, and William Shatner!! It says limited release.. I hope I can find it playing somewhere close..
That's great! I've been hearing about this film for a long time now.
Hope lots of people go see it and it gets circulated to some more theaters.
Being in Korea this year, I'm sure it won't show over here.Maybe on DVD someday!

They'll make a movie about us stealing a delayed movie....and it will be delayed too. It will be a never-ending chain of delays, which will cause the world to implode in on itself.
Or we'll just wait another month.
At least the boycott worked and the film has been changed back to how it originally was. I hope this comes to a cinema near me.

They showed the finished movie to 300 people at Comic Con this year but I was not able to get a ticket. The movie is done so why it keeps getting delayed I don't know. Sansweet and the producer of the film guaranteed a September release at Comic Con.
I agree though. It has been delayed so many times I don't even care if I ever see it at this point.
Just release it or come out and say it is going in the trash and never going to come out. Just make up your mind.
I've met the writer of Fanboys, and he's a really great guy! I have yet to see the movie, but have heard it's good. The film was shown at a film fest here last week, and the theater was packed! I too am tired of all the delays and re-edits, but I am not going to let that stop me from seeing the movie. Ethan Suplee as Harry Knowles is worth the price of admission alone!

lol, my bet is that if it was not for the boycott the movie would have already hit theatres, and would have been released on dvd. So instead of having a dvd in your hands with both versions... we have nothing lol. Just my two cents on the matter I guess. Never did understand why people flipped out over a movie... it's not like you would not get a chance to see both versions on dvd.

The release of this movie will be a nice birthday present when I hit 65.
I joined this website because of this movie, me and a friend are dressing up as Darth Vader and boba (duh) for the release. hopefully it is released around here or it would be a waste of my time. but then again they look pretty good in my room on mannequins. "Han solo was a dirt-bag"- fanboys lol thanks again for the heads up!
Unfortunately I see people flipping out over it a good thing. Ever been Jango and been called Boba???? People see only the surface , they follow the crowd, they look up when 2 other people look up.
It would have been turned into propaganda ( in the common person's eyes) and encourage people to make fun of us.
Also I heard it was done in the superhero/scary movie style of humor. Personally I don't like those movies. Yes I watched one, I tried it, I gave it a chance, it wasn't funny.... most of the jokes were... in poor taste or.. lacked good, classy, sense of humor.
I think they did the , right , thing if they went back to the origional story! good workmanship is worth waiting for I think being part of TDH we can all recognize that. just my 2 cents.
The trailer shown at San Diego Comic Con was 100 times better than this one..IMO

Saw the new trailer for Fanboys before Zack and Miri Make a Porno last night.
Still no official date on the release. All it said was "coming soon." Weve been staring at that for the last 14 months.
lol saw the new trailer starring etc etc etc "and that guy from Die Hard 4"
If George Lucas were in charge of this project, it would have been released at least 4 times by now.
We would have had releases, re-releases, special editions, very special editions, and then half the actors would have been digitally replaced by ewoks.
I think this move is just not going to come out, ever.
