Finally joined up...

Finally decided to join the 501st and get my stormtrooper approved. Haven't submitted my ESB fett yet....funny as I've been working on and off on it for 8 years now, but still want to get it just right before I send it in for approval.

Anyways, i'm TK 8175. Picking a number proved to be harder than actually putting the costume together. I had about 5 emails back and fourth between myself and my GML trying to get a number for me.


Well, no events in the near furture, but some towards the end of the year I'm sure I'll be a part of. Hopefully I finish my jetpack before then and get my fett approved....that's literally the only thing missing from my costume right now.... and all the parts are just sitting in the basement.

That's on the back burner surprisingly... I have a vader going, but haven't had the time or money to do much with it lately.... i was in the process of sculpting all the armor, but lack the money for making silicone molds now. At least I have all my soft parts done


Ironically that's the only costume i should have...i'm really close to prowse size....way too huge for a stormtrooper and boba fett....but what the heck right?

How long did it take from submission to acceptance?
Just curious since i applied last week.

Well, I applied earlier this year, but my buddy (who sucks at taking photos) didn't get a full body shot like I asked so it got cut off at my ankles...so i suited up for nothing basically.

When I sent those photos into my GML, he obviously wanted photos that showed my boots.

Unfortunately, the boots I had kind of got damaged sinced then, and I hadn't gotten new boots up until about 2 months ago.

So I had a different friend take some photos maybe 2 weeks ago, and applied on the 12th...got more a less a go on the 14th, and got the approval from the LMO on the 20th....so about a week really.


Now I officially have my TK number and am marked "ready for duty"
