Fett's Ep6 Blaster on A&E Storage Wars!

Chaosdoc

New Hunter
Just watched a mini marathon of Stoage Wars on A&E (wed dec 15)and one of the main buyers found a cash of vintage Flare Guns. One was marked "Property of ______ Prison" , sorry I cant remember the name, and it was exactly the gun used to make Fett's ep6 blaster. The front with the cooling veins is an alteration as is the scope, but the hand pommel and stock are from this prison issue flare gun for sure.

yup, thats a webley flare gun used for both ESB and ROTJ. I would loved to have found that in a storage unit! They are hard to find.

Yep...wish i had a real one. Mine is cast off of one though so it will do for now hehe

good eye bro, and lucky guy, like was menntioned by gym, they are hard to find

Yup! Saw the same episode, needless to say I was was bummed out because the winners probably have no idea what a treasure they have found.

I'm watching the episode now. It was a chrome Federal Labs version of the Webley.
They were converted into riot guns - that's why it was labeled as prison property. The expert estimated it's value at $400-500.

storage wars webley

Hey everybody, I was watching storage wars and some guy pulled some flare guns out of a box. A nice chrome webley. It was valued at 400 to 500 dollars. As soon as I saw it iI new what it was but my friend didn't. I told him that the guy didn't know about the star wars interest. Just throwing that out there for those of you who watch the show.(y)

The shows are cool but I wish they would show more of the logistical side of storage auctions. No random person can just automatically find good treasures at storage auctions, you have to use a good strategy.
