fetting with a massive beard

so when I put my helmet on, my beard sticks out the bottom! I am NOT trimming my beard, have not trimmed it since I got married about 9 months ago so I was wondering if anyone had a solution to hiding a beard. I was thinking of just tieing a bandana across my face as i did when sanding the bondo and tucking the end into my neck seal.

figured I would check ehre to see if anyone had run into this issue and how they fixed it.

Thanks

happy friday everyone

Jeremy Bulloch needed nothing....but if you have a big bushy beard then maybe wear a balaclava?

haha that is a baby beard, much respect though

here is the issue photo.JPG

i could just put a few braids in which would make it easier to tuck back

Like I said, balaclava to cover the chin area at least, and make the neck seal larger than your actual neck size, so you can tuck the beard down into it.

Your beard might be to thick for a Balaclava and then you have somethign that looks like a Tumor on your chin when covered under the stretchy balaclava.

Search this Board for Chin Skirts -> they should do it.

If the Beard gets longer you can braid it and have it easiere to hide it. ^^

Hey Fetts,

I know this thread is 11 years old, but i figured I’d continue it.

Due to the pandemic, I have a similar beard to the OP and have witnessed the “tumor-like” growth when I put in my balaclava to hide my beard. My neck seal does not help.

Obviously, not going to trim the beard and a chin skirt would make me melt in my helmet.

I was thinking maybe an exercise band or something to keep the beard tighter to my skin.

anyone else have this issue?

Sadly, I don't or can't think of any solutions. Being 100% Native American myself - us Native folk don't grow any facial or body hair. During my 10 years in the Army, it was actually a blessing. Most soldiers had to crawl outta their racks in the morning to tend to their 5 o'clock shadows, meanwhile I could stay sleeping for that extra 15 mins - Hehehe! Which may not seem all that long, but over the course of a year it is approximately 91 hours worth of extra sleep! I'd say once a year I can conjure up an 8th grade moustache, but just a few swipes of the razor quickly takes it all off again for another year.

But if you're rockin' a Duck Dynasty beard...

...and are NOT willing to trim nor shave it off. Man....I mean, I wish you best of luck with finding a solution. Even with a Fett Helmet, I should think it'd be quite difficult to hide it.

Best,
-Iron
