Fett (in reverse) ROTJ

I'm sure it probably has come up before but there is something very unusual about the scene in ROTJ when Boushh takes out a thermal detonator.

In the background, Fett draws his weapon but it's a mirror image, everything is reversed (cape on right shoulder, antenna on left, you get the idea).

Anybody notice this before, what's the explanation for this one?

It's fairly common practice to reverse a shot in order for it to fit smoothly into a scene. This is most often done so that the lighting matches and the character appears to be facing the correct direction for the scene he or she is part of. Unfortunately, Boba was probably one of only a handful of characters in the film they could've done that to and it be visible - and even then few people spot it.

this is old news, but you are correct.

it's just done to correct which way he is meant to be facing, they did the camera angle incorrectly which if not reversed would make it look like he wasn't aiming at boushh at all, but they flipped it so he'd be aiming in the correct direction, it just makes the suit inaccurate

i think it should be counted as an additional screen accurate rotj fett

ahahah

I believe they actually did the same thing to Jango in AOTC, but fixed his rangefinder so its less noticeable. When Jango flies away from Obi-Wan in the Kamino rain battle while firing at Obi-Wan, his RF is on the correct side but his gauntlets are flipped. They aren't on the wrong arms, because the whipcord launcher is still on the outside of the arm, it just means that they flipped him and used CG to fix the RF so its less noticeable.
