The fett in person

Hey, I think due to the dye type used this suit has seriously faded over time. Just something to consider if you're making a suit more close to the time of filming or today as it sits.

Congrats to everyone who went to C4. I wished my timing in the Military service was more...well...to my favor. I feel so jealous when I saw the first pics indicating that the Fett suit was on display....with NO GLASS around.

Kudos to everyone. I want a REF CD of those pics....add me to the list. ;)

I am not sure where it is supose to attach but it is attached via velcro... I think it velcros behind the ammo belt or perhaps the vest.

The AOSW and MOM jumpsuits never appeared to be exactly the same colors to me. I know one of our members here has been able to touch the ROTJ MOM jumpsuit and said they flipped open the thigh pouch and the completely un-weathered material inside was "ESB light blue". Now, the AOSW one has always appeared to have a more "purply hue" to it.....
That "member" was me.
i flipped the flap at FIDM
It's Blue

According to some of the pics I've seen I think it's connected to the Girth belt of all places???...I have pics...

again we'll post late late tonight...:p

Here are some teasers of the diamond with the raised area. We have lots more coming, and are colaborating with Braks to make all pics in hi res available. ;)

now here's my big question... the primer is dry on my latest jet pack. should i hold out on painting until the pics show up (that is, any interesting jet pack shots?)

My wife was with me at the exhibit.
she said "that looks just like yours" when she saw the real deal.
so...
just paint it like mine, Michelle said so

Even, Spidey, and Darth Miller; I really do appreciate all of the pictures that you guys took of the SE suit, but I was extremely disappointed seeing it in person.

I don't know, I only looked at the suit for about 12 seconds and realised that members on the board have suits 100000% better than the original. Accuracy isn't really a problem anymore, I think it's the LFL archives who need to scope us out for accuracy and how to take care of their freakin' costumes. The thing was broken, gauntlets busted open, etc. I really didn't care.

i dunno... that's like saying that the Colosseum isn't worth studying since it's half fallen over.

even though the original is battered and falling apart, it's the still thing we're all[*] trying to copy :)

[*] at least all the rotj folks!

Yep, there's some good jet pack info coming up too. Some of the seasoned members here may have seen some of the details before, but there were things I hadn't noticed previously.
