What? Is this some kind of a new vintage series?
It's a mail away exclusive that they released last year. I'm not sure however if the promotion is US or North America only.
I haven't heard about it here, in Europe. Was released on TV or something? Well, who cares... if it was last year, it's impossible to be in, maybe eBay will help :P
There was a decal on figures showing that if you send in 5 upcs you can get the figure. THe promotion doesn't end till April but if you haven't seen it, I'm that it is happening in Europe. You should definitely be able to find them on ebay or other collectibles websites I'm sure.

Actually it ends March 31 2011 as you can see on the Label. (you have to look really close, Hey I tried my best.) Sorry U.S. and Canada only.

I have the Star Wars Figures Archives Picture Book by Stephen Sansweet (aka. Steven). But this heralds to the days of the "Mail in" Figures with 5 proofs of purchase with a three dollar shipping fee (Now $8.99; not counting the $8.99 per figure times 5, How times have changed)
But this started back in 1977 with the "Early Bird Special" a cardboard box which oddly was a HUGE success (I had one and I know you Old Timers did too, Now.. "MAN UP!".
The figures included Luke, Leia, Chewbacca and R-2 D-2 and they came in the mail of March in 1978. Fett would follow in December of that year. Right after after the Star Wars Chirstmas Special. The next line of Mail in's was 4-Lom, Admiral Ackbar, Nien Numb, the Emperor and ending with Anakin Skywalker from the Original Trilogy.
Still this was fun trying if only for a moment to recapture my youth.....
The Figure will be avilable in May for mass purchase.
