Fan Days Irving, Tx; October 8-9

Once again Fan Days is coming to the DFW metroplex but this year it will be held at the Irving Convention Center in Irving, Tx which is in a sense between Fort Worth and Dallas. Much like previous years as well and thanks to the great people at Official Pix and C2 Ventures, The Dented Helmet will have a table at the convention.

This has always been a great opprotunity to showcase the fantastic community and talent that this site offers. We will need the help of members to volunteer and help out at the table both days of the convention. General admission tickets will be $20.00 but those that volunteer to help out at the table will get in FREE for the day that they are helping. We would like two people per time slot. So if you would like to volunteer go ahead and post here with what time slot you would like to take. PM me your actual names as well so that I can put you down to recieve your free pass.

I will be there on Saturday. I am going to be doing a Fett Panel for the 501st from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Saturday, so I will help with the 11-12 timeslot. I will probably come back after the panel and hang out in the room too. Let me know if I can help in any other way. I can bring some of my Fett stuff to put on the table if it is needed.

I may have trouble getting off work, but if I can I would be happy to help. I put in the book for Saturday off, so I will post up when I can be sure.

It would be great if you can make it out Mullreel. We could definitely use the help, plus it'd just be great to able to meet you and talk. I'll make sure to go to the panel if I'm able to make it away from the table FettFanatic. We've got some pretty cool stuff planned for the room but I'm not quite sure what exactly we will have set for the table so I may take you up on the offer but only if you feel comfortable doing so. I don't think I'll be costuming the event since so much of my stuff is on the operating table so I probably won't have much of my personal stuff to display.

Also, if you guys don't mind sending me your full names so I can put you down for a free pass I would appreiate it. I've got your's already Mullreel.

I wouldn't mind helping out, I'm gonna happen to be in the area that weekend and was going to go as it is

I plan on trooping some of the event but will try to fill in at the table when needed. I can troop before or after. I also have a raw cold cast FP/Asok helmet if we wanted to use it on the table for display.

I am hoping to be there both Saturday and Sunday, but of course it is always wife willing.

Hey Brian, Setup is actually on Friday.. if you wanna help just call me.
And you should be able to reach scott on Saturday for your badge, more than likely your name will be on a list at the box office... be there early, parking is not fun. LOL

Nice meeting everyone.....had great time and a great troop.

It was nice to see everyone again or for the first time. I had a fun time. The only downer was the broken holster strap from that kid that wouldn't get his hands off of it and kept trying to snap it closed. Well it snapped alright. Thanks kid. Also, someone chipped one of my helmets. Next year DO NOT TOUCH signs are going to be made. :)

I was there on Saturday and had a blast. TDH room was really great, lots of cool stuff and great 'wow' factor with the life-size figures. I bet lots of happy people got some great photos in there.
