Hey all, so I got the EE Republic Elite Forces set yesterday. I thought I'd give my impressions.

    Images can be found here:

Anyways, these two packs total 14 figures which breaks down to 6 Mandalorians, 2 Clone Troopers, 2 ARC Troopers, and the Republic Commando Omega Squad.

    First the Mandalorians:

You get two based on (basically) the VOTC Boba Fett, One in Green and one in Red- both of these figures are the better on the male Mandalorians. Nearly Super articulated, and the removable helmets fit on their heads pretty well.

Next you get 2 Brand new Female Mandalorians. These are all new and really rather cool. I prefer the yellow character (I haven't commited their names to memory yet.) but both are really neat.

The last two Mandalorians are based on Jango Fett, and are the the weakest of the bunch. Their articulation isn't the best, but it isn't bad. In Fact the one in Brown is actually pretty cool, but the one in black and silver suffers a bit more then the brown. This is because the the head has sculpted hair that doesn't allow the helmet to fit as nicely as the other figures and as a result he looks strange with the helmet on.

These figures definitely cool; and 4 out of 5 isn't bad.

Next is the clones, I like the basic troopers with the jaig eyes and skull markings, but I'm not thrilled with the Arc Troopers. I just think in general that figure looks like there is just too much stuff going on all over, and the black and red colors don't help.

Omega Squad is a pleasant surprise. I didn't initially think I was going to care about these clones, but having just read Republic Commando: Hard Contact I'm really glad I got these. They're all based on the Scorch figure, and are basic black which isn't much, but if you read the books you'll love these guys.

Overall I think this set is cool and 11 out of the 14 ae pretty darn awesome. EE is sold out right now, but you can pre-order for the next batch they get in. I'd suggest you do so if you collect SW figures, or are into Mandalorians. I like both and decided to order a second set to keep in package.

Yeah both mine have Jaig eyes. That sucks that yours doesn't. Call Hasbro Customer Service and complain.

Besides that, what did you think? Which are you favorites/ least favorites?

I think overall its a real cool set. I would have liked to see something other than stealth Omega but what can you do? Your right though, the two Arc's seem a bit weird I guess.

    The mandos are pretty cool.
