Durable boots?

Does anyone make long-lasting Boba Fett boots? I wore my costume last night and the boots I made totally sucked. Painted rubber = gummy and shiny. Bad idea.

I'd love to get some accurate boots, but I'd also like to wear them out in public with my civvies (probably have to take off the spikes). Does anybody make boots that I could wear that won't die on me after a few days?

I wanna bump this cuz I'm still interested. Any reviews on the longevity of the CA Boots? Good for everyday wear?

The only boots I know of are the CABoots, Evo Boots, and there were Cheng boots? I think the Chengs are no longer being made and are really sought after... The CABoots are probably more durable but the Evos are moer affordable... I hope that hels a bit.

I don't know if I could speak for everyone but most people prob won CABoots or scratchbuilt their own... Evo boots are relatively new so some people just got those, I'm a bit newer to these boards so I am not sure what Cheng boots are... except they are very pricey, I assume they are good

Well i wear the CABoots ,im not too happy on the design on evolutions ,specially the sole as it looks like they could come apart during trooping .

CA boots are probably the most popular. They are supposed to be back in stock soon. Sometimes they will have closeouts on slightly blemished pair, but hey we all blemish them anyways

I think you're going to be hard pressed to find something you could wear for costuming and with normal clothes. I mean...you could, but you'd risk damaging the boots during regular use. You'd be best served to wear the costume boots only for costuming. Just my 0.02!
