    Dune Stillsuit

I've been burning through some of the latter books in the Dune series recently and thinking, how come no one ever costumed a Stillsuit? Surprisingly little on Google, not even good pictures of props unless you want the Lynch stillsuits.

I think the Harrison Dune that was on the SciFi Channel had suits more accurate to the book, check out the attached picture. I couldn't find a decent full body shot of them but you get the idea.

Also, for fellow Dune fans, here's a video I found on YouTube I found amusing -

Seems easy enough just time consuming, most of it would be leather straps, cloth, and little rubber tubes in the chest area (at least i think). Need to find more pictures of these guys.

Plus it would be very cool to have some Maker Hooks and a Thumper to build as well as a Crysknife.

Be a fun one to work on while I do my Fett as a side project.

I started working torwards doing a Lynch stillsuit a couple years ago... but it's kind fell to the way-side.

I love the Lynch ones, I just wish they were more book accurate.

I found a site detailing how they made the movie suits out of bodysuits and foam. They made the one for Kynes tear away (wear Rabban rips it and sends him in to the desert) as a two layer. Kinda cool

I think a Stillsuit would be a really cool costume. I checked ebay years ago for one and came up with nothing.

I'm pretty sure it would be even more amazing since no one seems to do them much.

I've found some Lynch Stillsuits online for sale that were used in the flick for a few grand...
