Disney Blockade Japan over Bandai Models

Not a 100% accurate title but it was fun to think of.
This is just a heads up to all you Guy's and Gal's that like model kits and were thinking of getting one or two of Bandai's excellent kits.
Disney corp has now stopped Bandai Japan from exporting their kits (I do not know if this applies to their figure line).Bandai have breached a trade agreement between them and Disney (who as you know now own the marketing rights to star wars) The kit were never meant for the off shore market, and were only for the Japaneses market.

The kits which have the best details I have seen in their price bracket, and they just have some damn cool kits.
What I have read and have so far annoyed me as I was in no hurry to buy any kits, but now feel I may have to if i don't want to miss out...

I have been told per-orders will be honored but after the 20 September no more kits will be available... only what is left on the shelves.

What sucks more about this is they were releasing a Boba Fett kit and also the Slave 1 and a Millennium falcon:cry

Yeah I saw those announcements too, it sure stinks. However I bet that hlj.com (where I sometimes get japan made models) will still ship them over here if you want. The prices are quite reasonable there too. I already have the Bandai C-3PO and R2-D2 kits, and they were awesome, looked fantastic without any paint or glue whatsoever.

Just found out that Hlj is actually discontinuing Bandai Star Wars kits from their international store. Why, Disney, why???

Annoys me, Im stuck between Cred's for my Fett or stock up on kits...
How ever there are some nice folks in Japan that are offering to be middle men out help out us poor unfortunate deprived types :rolleyes

I'm personally lucky because I've got relatives in Japan who can send stuff, but it makes things much more inconvenient for everyone who wants to get in on something good, and Disney is being a bit overbearing about the whole thing which might be a beginning of a trend...
