Dented C-3PO - The Boba Fett Connection

I am with you! I am dying to see more photos of this! Like you said, the light makes it very difficult to discern and a part of me wonders if it is only due to the odd angle of this photo that we can see the facets, and why no one else has pointed them out before (since most shots are taken from the front).

Do we know who took the photo? Was there more too it or did you crop it down? If that's all there was to it then the person who took it may have been specifically shooting the dent. Perhaps because it is shaped/faceted

No, sorry. I think you guy's are all wrong. That dent was originally created by Andrew Ainsworth back in 1975. I have a rare photo to prove it.

I've seen that pic before and never gave it a second though. Very interesting...it's a small clue lol. It's hard to tell but the one on the left seems to have shape to the dent. Does the one on the right have a dent with a different shape/location?

Hahahahaha.... it is quite the coincidence and you aren't the first person to ask if I photoshopped it, but I didn't. It is what it is. I think the photo that Seeker posted is even MORE telling as you can see the tell-tale flat area extending out around the dent on 3PO's head before the head returns the the normal curvature... exactly as seen on the Fett helmets!

Thats a good question, did Boba steal 3PO's dent. Since he had it in Anh.

I'm leaning to it being a "lighting" thing though. It really does look to have facets like Boba's in that first pic, but never having seen another other than those used on tour with a smooth crater, it's likely to me anyway that it's a trick of the pic It would be kind of cool though !
