Darn it.........

Well thats about how I'm feeling right now. I just received word today that I've been let go from Tandy. After 3 years it seems my time there it up. Everyone knows the cost of gas going up and it effects retail, so the company has been taking hits in the past year and needs to cut down I guess. Only stupid thing is that they keep opening up new stores...??? I think it has to do with making the stock holders happy. Anyhow the TDH tandy account is still active and will always be. Being let go does not affect it. But just wanted you all to know.

That sucks man! Same thing is happening at my company, so I know it's hard. I'm sure things will turn around though.

I feel for you man. I was laid off in March but unemployment wasnt all bad I got to spend more time with my kids and more time to work on my Fett!! lol but I just got a new job at Honda so life is getting back to normal.. Just remember! get your Unemployment filled out soon as you can because even though its not much (top is $390week) its alot better then nothing! I have heard all kinds of horror stories of my friends that got laid off with me not getting their U.I. checks for a month after they got laid off! also there is alot of help out there for people who are getting laid off, T.A.A., WIA, just to name a few. I feel your pain,I just now am slowly getting back on track after losing my job in Dec and getting new employment in January.The best advice I can give is to have faith that things will turn around.
Please remeber that ther are plenty of folks that are here to support and offer comfort while you go through ths struggle.

I am very sorry to hear that and I feel your pain too. I have had close encounters with unemployment. It is very tough. But don't let it break your confidence in yourself. It is all too easy to equal work with self worth, but it is a false realization. It IS the economy, if takes you a while to get back to work, remember that.
