crazy find, happy ending

So today my cousin asked me if I wanted to help him load some stuff for him. He buys storage auctions.. yes like on TV. he's been doing it for years. Anyhow today he bought one for $25. It was just a 10 x 10 full of boxes with paper. He didn't know why he bought it but just took a chance. In it was a large box of very old photos. some over 100 years old. some had writing on the backs and most don't. He wanted to throw them out but I held onto them. I brought them home and just wanted to look at them. I noticed all the ones that had writing on the back stated that all the families were from here San Antonio. I thought that was pretty amazing. Then I got curious and used my ancestry.com account and started to look up the names. I found one. Followed the family down the the living. Found a phone number and called them. Explained to them of my findings and they thought I was a crazy person at first. I told them I have a 99 year old photo of her family. She send her husband whos a police officer over to see what was up. I gave it to him and he called her to come over. She saw it and never knew the photo existed. She became very emotional and kept thanking me. I don't know if I could find all these other families as there are hundreds more. But I guess in my free time I could dabble in it. Any thoughts?

That was a lovely thing to do. In this day and age, any one of us would be suspicious to receive such a call, but it just goes to show that nice people do still exist, especially when you know that what you are doing could mean so much to the recipient. Hats off to you sir.
