It looks great..awesome craftsmanship but you did ask for constuctive Criticism.so I have decided to phrase it in a form of a question and comment...
It looks like you have molded the leather to fit snug with the contors of the .45 and the clips(which looks great).I am sure you have tried it on with a sidearm and clips. So let ask..
If the wearer was in a sitation and had to run with this rig on how much movement would the sidearm and clips do?Flopping around I guess what I mean.
Given the wieght of fully loaded clips and fully loaded sidearm, that is a little bit of weight to be swinging while in foot pursuit. Some of the manufatcured ones I have owned have straps that come down to loop around the belt to help hold the rig tight to the body.
And does the sidearm fit snug enough not to need a strap to secure it to the holster.Nothing worse then dropping you sidearm when bending over.
After all the postitive reveiws here am I sorry to be one to raise questions.Again let me state for the thread your craftsmanship is awesome. But having gone through plenty of "what looks good but doesnt function well" holsters and other gun add ons I am trying to be constructive here

Oh I just noticed your disclaimer about "costume use" on your order page.I will remove my foot now..sorry

Lopero, yes the gun will fit snug, most holsters that are made to be snug should have alot of molding to the trigger area, which is where it kinda locks so to speak. It would not fall out. As for strapping it down to a belt. That is just an option that is personal perfernce. I have not put it on and tried to run with it....yet. Although my gun is a fake metal replica. I don't like real guns.. It does have the same weight. And it is heavy. But I guess if your running you may want to strap it down. Mine are mostly for costuming purposes but it is made to be a working holster as well. Some of my customers/friends from work have tried it on and like it.

I am sorry if I came across as rude.I did not notice or even think that this would be used as a costume prop.Your craftsmanship is truly outstanding form what I have seen here on other threads. When I saw this piece I did not look at as costume piece.
I do have a question for you but I will send that via a PM

Your questions were vaild. Taco makes some very nice stuff, if one was to want a "functional" holster "so to speak" he would also be able to help.:)

I have no suggestions about the holster itself but outside of picture 4 it is really hard to see any detail at all due to the low light level. I would suggest you put some more light on on it so potential buyers can really see what they are getting! Right now, at least on my computer most of the pics make the holster look like a big black, detailless blob.

Taco, sorry I haven't been able to do the review yet of the JP/RP harness, I'm going to try this weekend.

FYI guys tacos leather work is amazing.(y)
