Hey has anyone else seen this yet??
I am excited about it, yeah I had some problems with the movie, but I still liked the movie and will still be watching the new series. So what do you all thing so far?? I liked the primitive Y-wing and .....Plo Koon SPEAKS!!!!(y):confused:thumbsup::wacko I haven't made up my mind yet about Plo speaking yet but his voice seemed like it wouldn't fit but we shall soon see, it should be intresting.

Cool! Thx for the info, I think it'll be good for a TV series, as long as the storylines are sophisticated enough for adults to stay interested and are action packed. Pixar is a fine example in what can be done. I thought the CW movie was entertaining for the most part and what I expected for anime. The battle scenes were what made the movie enjoyable for me.

Plo Koon with that aristocratic voice does sound different then what I imagine, but Alex Guinness had that same tone, we'll see October 3rd.

I love it! too bad Cartoon Network is not availible anymore in Holland:(
I'll buy the DVD episodes if they are availible.

''Roger roger roger roger''

love that part!!!

Here is the link to the official web site for the show http://theclonewars.cartoonnetwork.com/
I am excited about it, it does have its humor and the action looks great as well. Though I do agree with you all about Plo sipping on tea while wearing a monocle and talking about some space time travel quantum physics thing. Wouldn't have guessed but still intrigued.

.......I just hope like heck that they use some of the OT and PT score for the TV series as they did in the trailer. It was one of my big let downs regarding the Clone Wars music.

Looks like it'll have a much better story than the movie. Could be interesting! It still has it's "Kids Show" quirks that you would never see in the films though.

The series will be palatable - the movie was too much for me. I didnt care for it. Breaking this up into bite size chunks will be less ear bleeding for me. LOL...

I got the Clone Wars soundtrack and (apart from the first 16 seconds) I quite enjoyed it. True, it doesn't rely too much on most of the recognisable Star Wars themes, but there are a couple of nods to each of the movie soundtracks if you listen carefully.

when did they switch from the WB to cartoon network?
i read somewhere that they sold the broadcasting rights to the WB and the re-runs would be on another channel (cant remember which)

The whole concept was developed for Cartoon Network. When Lucas took a look at it it was then decided to put the first 3 episodes together on the big screen as a promotion for the series and I guess WB got involved at that point.
