Just got my camera back today. Unfortunately I didn't take many pics at the con as I was in armor most of the time. But I have a few. The ones I didn't scan were more pics of Goro and Masa's helmets and a few of the lines.
JFJr and Marrow Sun doing...something...to a sleeping E2K13.
Me with Clone6 and his friend in their amazing clone armor.
Not really from the Con, but me with Dave Attell in a convience store in Tennessee at 4am on the way to Indy
Oh snap! That's one awesome encounter. Also fun sharing the TE photo shoot with yee. I was 'that guy' with the real, heavy E-11 blaster.
I met one of this pair of clonesix armored troops...I offered a flattering compliment to one of them at the TDH party at the Embassy Suites Friday, don't know which one, doesn't matter...I received an aloof reply in response...so brief, not worth mentioning. I was not the only one either that received this type of treatment. I know they are frustrated fellows since Clonesix had a helmet recasted a year or two ago...oh well. Still nice suits though...too bad they can't be more happy in general and enjoy themselves better. I hope my comments are received by these guys with the intended spirit they were presented...objective and honest. That is what it is about here...right?
Yepp!! I am surprised that people got pics of me even though I was only in it on Sunday for a short time. Haha, it's hilarious preggers Zam makes it outta the bag Nice catch! You have so many mini costumers in there.. it's adorable.Ysanne said:
There was a big discussion about this over at clonetrooper.net on their C3 pictures thread. Lots of opinions exchanged.
It's my longing to have children of my own to costume. Not to mention that my little brother is beyond the age of letting me put a costume on him. The kids at C3 certainly stole my heart! Screw the hot guys in armor & my Han Solo boy!!Zam I Am said:
Zam, your costume was definitely the best of all the Zam's I saw. Preggers and all All the love & luck in the world with the little one!
Thanks ysanne! I was thinking the same thing~~ LOL forget about the guys in armor... Hehhe.
Words I never thought would be put together in the same sentence, in reference to a con...what's the world coming to ?Ysanne said:

I had the same problem, I didn't carry a camera while in armor, and as a result, don't have any pictures of my own. Thanks for posting that one. Thanks for letting me into the TDH group shot, even though there is no dent in my helmet. 1068 has the dent in his helmet, as his other incarnation is Boba Fett.
It was mentioned above that some members may have felt unappreciated by either TK-1068 or myself. I truly enjoyed meeting you folks and chatting it up. I can appreciate all the time one puts into their work. Unfortunately, after several hours of fighting the crowds in uncomfortable shoes, I may have been more focused on getting out of armor than socializing. I hope no one feels slighted and hope to see you all at future events.
Thanks for the pics, guys. Keep 'em coming.
It was great meeting you guys too. Love the armor!
Normally, the armor thing doesn't strike me as hot until I see if the guy under it is hot.Got Maul said:
Blastech I love that E2K13 sleeping photo!
Bobafett669 Thanks for the photo!
Clonesix here you go!
And some more photos...
That is one dead sexy looking jet pack there. Oh and Bob is there.
Aww geez! I got a Boba blaster coming out of my butt
LOL! Just make sure it doesn't go off! It would be more than the blaster that would kill!!uke
Yes... that Bob character... I wonder who let him in that picture.Predatormv said:
This Bob sounds like he has a story I sense.
Oh he has a story. It has to do with his other life that he leads in which is an amateur opera singer.
Natasha... you miss me already don't you? Don't make me call you and sarenade you and Dustin.iycis said:
I see.... Well anyway looks like great fun.
Yes I do miss your bizarre made up songs!!!

Finally, after a unfortunatly long time... I've got 465 images from JUST Day 1 up on the 501st Legion Gallery (also contains the other costume groups, but officially is the 501st). See link above.
I hope to get Day 2 done tomorrow and added. That will probably have more images.
Great site Britt! Thanks for the link! I can't wait to see the rest!
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one with a ton of photos.
Great meeting you Britt!
Wow !!!... looks like it was quite a event ... amazing costumes too !!
Awesome page with great pics. I even spotted myself a couple times.
Thanks for the comments everyone
10.8 gigs, about 7,500 images was the final total that I took at C3 after removing the not so great photos. Not really a record I guess for me. I'm used to doing 4,000 photos in one day at a typical airshow, and about 8,000 in one weekend if it's a two day show. But still, that's a lot of photosGeo said:
I'm guessing you use CompactFlash? Since they are the cheapest? Looks like you have a pretty awsome camera there! You take really great pictures.
The sand trooper costumes are great very impressive indeed
Why I oughta... :moonYsanne said:
Yes, I have the new Canon Rebel XT 350D DSLR (8mp). I do use Compact Flash, however I have a portable harddrive with me that I can dump the photos onto and clear up my cards, giving me 41 gigs worth of image space.askywalker98 said:
Great photos Britt!
(p.s. sorry if we caused you too much extra photoshop with our Vote for Pedro armor )
By the way- if anyone has a picture of Kim in her blue Twi-lek holding the dreaded "Line Ends Here" sign, can you please post or PM it to us! Thanks a million

I may have missed it....but does anyone have the pic that was taken of just the Boba's after the 501st pic in front of the Falcon backdrop?

I guess Peter Mayhew was kind of a dick huh? I've found him to be pretty cool generally.
I just gotta find the clip of Electric Playground at C3, they did the opening segment with the whole Clone group, among others.
I got it, I'll post one on here when I get to the Sunday photos.BFett333 said:
(and look! almost actual evidence that I wore my new TIE fighter pilot costume too!)
Boba_fetts great photos! Can't wait to see more.
BTW, sorry if this might be little OT... I want to share one my favorite photo from C3 Lucasfilm Prop Archive. Found out that there was a little note underneath the huge Millennium Falcon display saying "DRIVE SAFELY"! I guess lot of ILM models have little notes or names on them which were added by the modelmakers and painters who worked on them.
I have a shot near the main cockpit of the Falcon that shows a 'Rescue' sign with an arrow pointing to a small pin hole that you would would find on real Military Jet Fighters. It's used in the case of a crash showing where someone can press to eject the canopy to get to the pilots. I thought that was pretty funny, probably got it from a Jet Fighter model.
Well, I finally have some of my pic up on my website, here is a direct link:
GREAT pics Ken it was a pleasure meeting you and making into your last picture!!!
Thankyaverymuch....so that's who's in my pic!
I kid....great to meet you man, now I can put a face with a board name.

WOW ! DAY 2 ROCKED!!!! (and yes, I needed to yell)...anyone catch the pic where I own Mirax ?!
HOLY ****! I'm actually in one of those pictures! And it's the costume I didn't think anyone had a picture of me in.
Those are some awesome pictures though! Very impressive!
Awesome photographs! I'm in two of them. Awesome to see so many TDH'ers as well. Arturo, your Jango is really awesome in those group shots. Is that you and your garrison? or the TDH cuz Mirax is in there too. Curious.
I caught that, I really like that pic too! And yes DAY 2 ROCKED!!!! A HUGE THANK YOU to Britt who really came to the rescue it getting pics when my camera died! Actually I am kinda glad it did cause these are way better than what I would have gotten!!!Got Maul said:

Who you marrying?? Dude your costume isn't a legal partner!!
Just learned lightsaber technique from a tutorial on TFN !
Got a link for that tutorial?
Brandy only trooped one day as Fett Girl. Did anyone by chance get any pics of her in costume?
Very nice Jose!
NOW wait a minute Jose.. !!! How do you know I have a straw with me????
Ok Jose.. now you made me stay up late last night and go through that tutorial. But I don't think I was carrying the straws though, I think Seeker was.
But then they turned into magical straws!!!! To penetrate those hard to reach areas.
Nice pics...one question though, do lightsabers cast shadows? The question begs to be asked.
Got Maul said:
With the fedora and the other glasses, you've got Elvis Costello covered as well!obi1kenny said:
Actually... Physics would state no there would be no cast of a shadow because the light saber would be a light source causing the shadows of object around it.
Thanks for giving my chop sticks color.
Although, in the movies the lightsabers do cast shadows. Plus, it's impossible to bend light, so lightsabers can't really be light.dgasser said:
In the movies, they forgot that light doesn't cast shadow, so they didnt bother cleaning up the shadows cast by the prop rods.
And since when does science FICTION care about physics?
(Think of the movie: Planes Trains & Automobiles)
THOSE AREN'T CHOPSTICKS!!
Here's a pic for those who don't want lightsabers to cast shadows.

LOL! I wonder if the folks at ILM ever thought about that.
I apologize, I don't know everyone on here (descriptions help of the person or day they may have been in costume)... is this the person you were talking about?Jango_Wes said:

Brandy is Fett Girl, the purple female Mandalorian. Sorry, I just assumed everyone knew her.
I know her ! But have no pics, sadly.
That may not be Fett girl, but that's a GREAT fett.
Wow, that ESB suit is awesome!
That is a great suit. Those look like my boots, but I don't remember selling any to a female.
Brandy only dressed as Fett Girl for one day. I know several people took pics of her. If anyone has any, could they pleeeeeeeeeze post them?

Now, what about the absence of weightlessness on Star Wars ships in the movies? I understand if you create a centrifuge in space, it will simulate gravity along a rotational axis, but I did not notice any ships like that. And there are not any noticeable inertial dampeners present in any of the tech journals. Hmmm...so many questions.
I know I'm only new here and you probably don't care what i got up to at C3 but I thought I post a few pics anyway. Most of mine to be honest are just of me and my mates in the pubs but I did manage to get some from the actual convention
The event that led me here... a fine set of men if ever there was.
The Elvis/trooper/Indy crossover was quite intriguing
There's always one...
My friend Blizz with Aj dressed as Bananakin Skywalker. He later got up at the George Lucas Q&A giving his name as CC Banana. *shakes head*
I was wondering about the Jedi Banana!! LOL! Bananakin Skywalker. LOL!
even though you cannot see it...you must know...I am dancing as we speak.Jango_Wes said:

(Note to self start talking to more chicks while in Fett armor.)
(2nd note to self learn to use term "sexsplodes" more often in daily conversations.)
read the thread, the link to the tutorial is a few posts up.
Where it this E3 even held at? I want to come lol just wonder around insult people (not to make fun of but to have fun Like hey your knee armors loose etc.)
Who the heck is that??? That is one mighty fine ESB suit!!!! Is she a member here???
actually, that's not funny. I hate when people do sh!t like that. Tk409, Bobafettish, SEEKER, and Fettpride have the best costumes on the board...yet I have never ONCE seen them criticize another fett or anyone costuming at a con. If the BEST (and let's face it, they're really the only who could stand on that pedestal) don't criticize, why should anyone get that right, if even for fun. Just remember, no matter how cute it may seem, that person put in a LOT of effort into the costume. Sorry for taking a serious tone, but I just wanted to nip this one in the bud.Demonchild said:
