I think that was just the picture for the parade that morning at C3 -- if you want impressive numbers, find the group shot done indoors. I heard at least 400 troopers.
Nice album bobas_fetts. You got me a couple times in the hall with that yellow clone.
That guy was crazy....it all started when he came running down the hall yelling
D___A___D___D__Y!!!!!
At me wearing my jango... :LOL
Pretty funny, we were there for about 40 mins and i was blinded by all the flashes. It was insane. First time in armor and i can now see why its so much fun. Almost felt like a movie star or something

No really we play B I G wars with air soft And i mean big the wood and fields behind my house and stuff like that last game we played more then 800 people showed brother brothers brothers brothers and **** like that
...........
**** ! that's like full blown battle ! How awesome must that have been. Most I have played were fifty man teams, can't imagine hundreds !
But Dude, your in Akron, PA!
PA is well known for large scale battle recreations.
The Cival War one, The SCA has their big Penzac War there each year that typically has 600+ at it. This was a Star Wars Convention. Not a large scale battle reinactment troup. LOL
Here is that Big 501st shot:

Still bigger...
Trust me maul you dont want a game that big! man how many times i got shot man those guys running round with the sniper rifles and full autos with air power ugly stuff man ugly stuff :lol
Sunday group photo had closer to 800 troopers. And I know lots of trooper who didn't bother to show up because it was too early.
:lol
Oh yeah! Well MY DAD.....
Oh wait...wrong thread.
:lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol :lol
Yeah, that's the official group photo I took.Quote:
There were 429-432. The count is still a bit shakey... but that's about the number.Quote:

Oh man, I was sick of getting wet and cold by friday morning.
But due to a complication with my contacts I was forced to not costume as much durring the weekend, and was free to wear more... weather accomodating clothes. Regret not wearing as many of my costumes, but wasn't as miserable with the weather as I had been in costume. Funny how that ended up working. I still wana costume for the rest of my life though. *shakes fist at c3* You thought you could stop me, but nay! Nay I say!

I hope to have Day 3 online tonight (late) or Saturday night if I'm not passed out from the back to back photo shoots (Airshow then a School Dance).
Hey do you guys know when C3 is? because some time during it i dont know if im going to being drivin supply trucks for the marines all over america so could you tip me off by tell me when it is? and if you see a convoy of i think 27 military vehicles in your town look for the supply truck number 4 :lol if you see it thats me! :lol
Well unless you've got a time machine, C3 was April 21-24th, - so good luck with making it - but I bet if you go now you can get in the front of the line for Celebration 4...Quote:

Well ill give them a good kick in the asguard :lol
Drives around . . . . All over the town . . . . . .Tounces the driving cat.
well maybe ill get off NEXT year but i dought it because im there main driver :/ so i dont know I have to deliver alltillary shells, amunation, weapons, And many more items a marine/combatint would need MRE's (made ready to eat) so theres a slim chance ill make it and well i might 10% chance i will *sigh* well ya :cry
The final count on Sunday was less then 500. Yeah is was really early that morning very hard to get for.

Okay... it will be finialized tonight... but here's the Day 3 photos as they are right now. I left it to upload as I left for work and class today, and I can see one thumbnail was missed. Plus, I have to change the graphics to have the correct day... but all the photos on page 1 and 2 are from Day 3. I use a template of the day 1 photo gallery on all the others and modify it for each day. So there's a behind the scenes look ;-) It's not even linked on the main menu page and you all are the first to get the link!
Hey Wes, Here the photo I have of Brandy. notice she's covering her cigs. LOL.

While I have been working on culling pictures, digital retouching, and graphics for my CIII galleries since the event, I am only just this week starting to upload images and commentary;

For now, only DAY ONE parts I and II are available. I'm interested in hearing how you all find the navigation. Also any information you'd care to share about a costume would be helpful in generating commentary.

I understand the lady in black received her wedding purposal during the Rebel Legion photo shoot. ¿Know anything her Mandalorian character?
Be well,

Happy memories,

I am the stormtrooper in Day one, Part one, Picture 006!
Hey Wannabe, You an your son made Star Wars Insider! Cool!
Geo
Great pics Thomas!!!
Finally updated my web galleries with SWCIII Day three;
http://www.paralada.org/Estonia_self...WCIII_day3.jpg
This set contains some of my favourite portraits from the convention. Because I am trying to standardize my galleries for automation, I have not yet placed commentary for the images in these galleries. I am interested to hear any comments or details on the costumes presented. I intend to add captions for each image. (This will take a while--still doing D*C 2004)
