I'm at Seeker's right now. Yeah, I brought the CG. I picked up the jacket on the way here. The only thing is, the barrel of my M-4 is too short to use the bayonet so I have to figure out a way to rig it up. I brought CG and Stargate Atlantis. Brandy has SG:A, Slave Leia and Jedi. Not sure if she will do the Jedi though. Depends on time.

Here is Hansoloway as a trooper and clone emperor as... the Clone Emperor. Thanks to galactic bountyhunter for digitally enhancing the clone emperor image! He was really able to bring the holocron to life!!!
WHOA!!!.....now that is nice.

I must say Optinerd deffinaty looks way better as Aeon flux then Charlese Theron. She looks way more like her (IMO of what I envision her looking like if she were real) then the actress. She's definatly got "that look" down. Very cool :thumbsup
The Clone Emperor is like Sithcamaro in that you give those guys 5 min in a costume and they actually really become them, manurisms, movments, speach ect... They've got that inate ability to pull it off, I dunno what they are doin in Chicago with talent like they have, they belong in Hollywood for sure.

This is very early in the planning stages and it is going to be the weekend of the 29th of April if it happens. I will post something official if this is a go but for right now we are trying to see if it can be done. I drove from Kansas (9+ hours) for this. Fett Girl flew in from San Antonio. Not only were the pictures worth it, I got to see some of the coolest cats on TDH. Oh yeah, and Got Maul.

This was a great event all around. I really enjoyed meeting everyone and I hope everyone had a great time. If anyone has suggestions about improvements we would love to have your input. Just send a PM to either me, Got Maul, or Brak's Buddy about it.
I also like to send out an apology to Galatic Bounty Hunter!! I accidently damaged one of his pieces helping him suit up for his shoot. He kept his cool when some people would had lost it. Keep me posted on if you're able to repair it.
Sounds like it was blast. Sorry I missed you guys as well. I would have loved to come up there and have my Shadow costume shot...no biggie.

It started with me taking shots of a number of TDHers (Dean O, Seeker, Mirax, etc) after the TDH get-together at Dragon Con 2003. Below is one of those pics of Mirax.

The ****** background and poor lighting really annoyed me, as do most all con pics because I feel like people work so hard on their costumes and then they have poorly lit pictures with distracting backgrounds taken. I wanted to see if I couldn't change that. I bought lights, cameras, misc other equipment, and 2 years later, here we are... I pretty much only take costume pics and honestly, all I know I learned either online from being unhappy with my own pics of from experience. The purpose of it all is indeed to hopefully provide people with pics that give justice to all their hard work and efforts. I still have a lot to learn but even with my meager skills people seem to be fairly happy and that alone makes it worth it.

I'd love to get a few nice shots in armor. Unfortunetely, I no longer have my Mando armor, but I do still have some (standard) Stormtrooper and a SDS Stunt. It would be great to get at least one high quality photograph in it. :)
