Sure. What do ya wanna know. Glad to help.
You think if I shot you a pm I could pick your brain a little bit about the smooth cast-roto? I havent used it, and ordered it. Just would like to get a couple things straight in my head before I start pooring it into things.

Thanks
SR

not the best lit photo, but the base colors are down on mine:

the lighting in my office makes reds come out WAY too bright. it's really a much deeper red. "milan red" by duplicolor. the face is gold leaf rub and buff, not buffed out super shiny, but enough that it looks more metal than paint.

i started doing some weathering in the seams, but it needs a lot more. i also drybrushed some gold along the high points all over.

Very nice Brian. Love it!(y)
Like the start on the weathering and dry brush gold, I'll have to try that!

One of the coolest things I've seen in a while, with the flip up faceplate!!! I've got a skinny head to match my skinny body. I'd probably have to put foam padding all around the inside to fit it right. Let's put it this way, on the old Don Post vinyl Boba Fett helmets.....friends of mine couldn't even get it over their head and I had to add a 1" thick piece of foam on each side of my head to hold it in place.

Awesome work, DangerRuss. :)

Send me the info on a trimmed but unpainted pull.... Flip-up would be great, ut if it's cheaper as a one-piece, I'm good with it :)

Oh, my head has a 23.5" circumference, so.... :D

Snifftacular my friend!!!!

"The Sniffer" himself loves the battle damage look. Your hard work and dedication has paid off my brother.

Quick couple of questions, is there enough room in the helmet to mount the thing for the eyes? And how hot does it get in there?
Thanks.

Yes the lite strip is very thin and can be attached to the lense in such a way so you can see underneath it but not see through it. It is a very form fitting helmet and fits my 22" head perfect, but guys with bigger heads probably can't where it. It doesn't get hot, altough I still haven't worn it for long periods, but the lite doesn't get hot. There is enough space underneath to breath, air hole is cut at mouth and eyes are not sealed, so it's quite breathable.

Wow. This is absolutely amazing. I am 14 years old and i want to make an Iron Man costume. Is there a step by step tutorial on how to make the molds and how to do all this stuff? Because i have less then a month for halloween. No just kidding, i am a movie maker kid. It would pretty much be the best thing to ever happen in my life if i could make an iron man suit like yours. I also want to make my own Super Hero, but i need to plan it a lot

You're best bet would be to check out the smooth on site, they have some tutorials there. At least, that's what people told me when I asked. :p Also just reading around on these forums will help a ton. You learn a lot about everything!
