check out my iron man helmet!

Thats amazing though. The flip up helmet, and the painting job... in my personal opinion i actually think its better then the Iron Man movie helmet. The coloring and all that. I bet you the helmet used in the movie was 5x as much to make as yours and probably the same quality.

Just a question... are you making a full suit to go along with that? You should make one.

P.S TMP, when i look at your iron man suit, i literally drool..

Hey guys, for a limited time I'm offering my Iron Man helmet raw cast right out of the mold for $150 plus shipping. These will need to be cleaned up. Eyes cut out, seam line sanded, rim trimmed. There might be a few small air bubbles to fill and sanding in some areas. I sell these cleaned up and ready to paint for $250, but I'm willing to drop the price if you are willing to do the work. Anyone interested please Pm me. Thanks.
Russell

err - dont think so mate - even his raw casting ready topaint were $250 for a one-piece, and $350 to make it a removable face. correct me if u have up to date prices now Russ

Russ - u know I want one!!

will pm u soon :D

It can be( I have two with hinges and lenses installed nearly ready to paint that I might be willing to make a deal on), but what I'm offering is straight from the mold. All clean-up or mods you do yourself. But I make my flip-up versions from this piece. All that is required is careful trimming along the faceplate lines with a dremel. At the corners I use a hacksaw blade for more control. Any slips can easily be repaired. You can use magnets to hold the faceplate or instal friction slide hinges.
Of course my ready to paint versions are still available at the original price.:D
is it the moveable face one btw?

Actually I am ready to reduce the price on my ready to paint versions. raw cast rtp one piece $200, $300 for the flip-up. I still need to get some return on the extra time I spend on the clean-up and mods.
Just to let you know, I've recently been affect by the economic downturn. My hours at work severely reduced(two weeks off), and not entirely sure about the future.
My orignal pricing on these reflected the quality of the sculpt and craftmanship in the cast, and the time I put into each one. But now I got to do what I got to do the bridge the gap. I thank and appreciate everyone who bought from me at those original prices, you helped to fund this and other projects, and helped keep this art alive. I certainly will remember you, and reward my repeat customers. Thanks,
Russell

looking good there mate ;p
so THAts how you got it to fit on your head
still love that helmet man

Nate
Hey Nate long time. Actually my head will fit the one piece version, but I had so many people that couldn't get there head past the rim. And I've seen this done before and it's an easy solution. The magnets are pretty powerful and hold it all together well. The snap in place with magnet to magnet connection, it's pretty cool.
