I worked on this piece for about 100 hours including sculpting, molding, and casting. The end result is pretty good, ... i think. What about you? It's especially cool with my el lite strip installed. When placed right, you still have good vision even with the lite strip in place. More pics to come.

cool how are you going to do the lenses?[/quote

hey sithchick! the lenses are safety glasses by smith and wesson screwed in place. then i installed an el lite strip onto those and i can still see well out of the space between the strip and the bottom of the eye opening. it really looks cool with the eyes lit up! look close in the pic and you can see my eyes in the eye openings.

new pic showing my flip up face plate idea. i designed a special hinge, cut out the face plate, and installed it on one of my reject castings. and it works! sort of...i still have a few bugs to sort out, but it has real potential!

hey wickedbeard! i do have one that can be brought back to life that i'll let go fer $80 bucks plus shipping. interested, pm me. thanks.

(I no longer have any rejects available, sorry. 10/04/08)Hey wickedbeard, these are sum of my not-so-great castings. one is thin and will need to be reinforced from inside and repaired due to some sloppy cut out. the other is pretty good thickness, but it was from my original mold which will require sanding to make clean, and some slight simetry issues, the face plate will need to be built up on right side 1/8 inch maybe and feathered in, also when you cut it off the neck(discard the neck its no good) you'll notice the right side of the rim(bottom) needs to be built up 1/4 or so to make it even. I fixed these issues when i remolded it. $80 for the cut one ,$100 for the other.
