Celebration VII Announced!

i hope to meet some of you there!

Does anyone know if there will be a TDH dinner this time?

We are flying in on Monday and staying till the following Monday.

Got 4 day pass for the wife and myself. Staying at the Embassy Suites down the road. Looking forward to meeting some fellow TDH members. Not going to be trooping though. Is there going to be some TDH shirts for sale there so I can represent?

So, with only 36 days to go, I'm trying to sort out some Celebration logistics concerning trooping. I'm bringing my Boba, but I'm not sure how often I'm going to wear it. I'm there for all four days and am thinking of wearing it for maybe 2.
I think four straight long days of trooping might be a bit much and won't make for the most optimal experience. Regular clothes would be much more comfortable for line standing, extended sitting for panels and navigating the convention floor (not to mention the temperature). What are other people thinking? If you're bringing Boba (or any other costume), how often do you plan to wear it at Celebration?

It's my first Celebration, so I'm looking to enjoy it more than troop it. I'm also local, so I'll probably be helping with 501st related items. That said, I still plan to wear my Mythos Fett build, Daft Troopers, and join in on the Willrow Hood run. I'll need a spreadsheet to plan it all out. It would be awesome to get a big group Fett photo... I haven't seen much for planning that on TDH nor BHG? Maybe I missed it...

Hey Bounty, I'll be trooping Jango for the very first time on Friday and perhaps my custom Mando a few hours on Sat. Like most, waiting to see a schedule for the four day event.
Zebrabuse, what day do you plan on trooping the Mythos? I wanna see that.

Still trying to figure that out... I'm going to need to start a spread sheet at this point to fit it all in... Probably Friday or Saturday though...

Hey to all fellow Celebration 7 badge and ticket holders, I'm pleased to announce that I've been selected to participate in Celebration 7 costume/cosplay contest. I've entered the contest with my newly built Jango Fett costume. http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f28/going-show-52006/#post653330
Although I've trooped my custom Mando for many years this will be my first time trooping Jango. I will post pics in the Jango thread forum. The costume contest takes place Friday April 17th at the Celebration Stage at 3:30
Boba and Jango costumes are judged in the armored trooper category. Each category will receive a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winner. If you happen to be at the show, give a cheer for Jesse Velasquez(me) as Jango Fett. Thanks

I just had an idea.
If a bunch of us are planning to take part in that official Celebration photo, would that be a good time for a TDH group photo? If we're already in one place and we all have our gear on, it might be easier to stick around for a bit and grab some shots rather than trying organize something later.
I remember reading something about people trying to organize a group pic at some point.
