Celebrating the safe return of Brit troops

    Hi Guys,

thought i'd post a couple of pics of the 1st Battalion of the Royal Anglian Regiment (my old regiment, i was in the 6th Battalion). These guys have just returned from Afganistan and have suffered a high number of fatalities

Anyways on their return they paraded through my home city (see the pics)

Here is a warm felt thank you to all our guys on both sides of the pond :thumbup

Excellent! Hope they received a warm welcome!
One of our squadrons (USAF) just came back from 6 months in Afghanistan a little less than a month ago. Fortunately, all of them were OK.

About time someone honoured our troops for the service they have done. This country is too quick to leave our vets swinging in the wind instead of saying "thanks for doing what we as a country sent you there to do". Weither you agree with the reasons for them being their or not they deserve our gratitude.
