I think I've waited enough for my goods I purchased from you after receiving several assurances that the items were shipped. Since your communcaition via PM's is lacking to say the least, I have to post here and demand concrete evidence that my items are in transit.

I don't want to hear any excuses either. Your behavior as a seller is contrary to what any buyer would want and should expect. It is definetly not of the best interest of what I have become to know from members of the TDH or any prop or costuming board for that matter. I've sold hundreds of items on other boards with no issue and your behavior is an unfortunate growing trend here with non-delivery of goods and poor communications. I know I am not alone with my frustrations with you over a deal as I have recieved several PM's from others regarding similar issues.

Post up with no excuses as to when I will get the item I paid for. You've got until Tuesday before I file a claim against you.

I will actually have to agree with SteelBlitz. I have encountered similar problems when dealing with you on the 501st boards. Don't get me wrong, the holsters ended up coming, but the lack of communication ended only when I asked for my money back. Now, if that were the end of my problem, I would not be posting here.

Two troops was all it took to pop a rivet in the e-11 holster, and that was not a big deal. What is a big deal is that when I asked you what part number it was, you responded by saying that I could buy one from you--I did not want it shipped. There is a Tandy Leather Factory about 5-10 miles from where I live. More than likely they would carry it there. All I asked for was the part number, and/or where you got it, so that I could order a pack, in case this were to happen more than once.

Now, the product was good (especially for the price that you offered it at), however, the time frame involved, as well as the lack of communication spoiled the whole transaction, which is why I did not want to order anything more from you(i.e. the rivet(s)). I just hope that with your future customers you could show a bit more courtesy, and answer their pms/e-mails from more than one account when they have a question, and not just because they are requesting a refund.

As I stated in the Ammo Pouch thread:
    Quote ItsThatGuy said: View Post
My pouches look fantastic! They are really great! BEYOND my expectaions!

My only issue is I ordered them back on August 29th and you told me they would be ready in 2 weeks... and I finally go them today (10/19). I don't mind since I am no where near finished, but I was worried at first.

I will be posting pictures later!

Basically they were 4 weeks overdue... but the pouches turned out nice.

As as update, I just did receive a tracking number tonight via a PM. I'll keep this updated.

Well Morpheus, not knowing any specifics about your situation, I can't offer you much help. Do you have reciepts and documentation of any communications? That is where you need to start. I have no intention to get involved in your ordeal, but I will gladly help direct you in the right direction or towards others who can provide assistance if you are unsure what to do next. PM if you like.

Folks, if you have problems with sellers on TDH please bring it to the attention of the Admins. We can't possibly read every single thread here and keep up with things without a bit of your help. If you need us to step in and say something then by all means contact us privately.

    Thank you.

    Hello everyone,
Wow, wow, I did not know I had a bounty on my head until today. hehehe J/K

Sorry I haven't been on the boards that much...501st, TDH, OCSWS, RL or SCG.
But I don't have web access 100% of the time at this point so my communication is not the best.

If anyone has a problem with my holster or pouches please let me know via e-mail.
    Robeewankenobe@aol.com
My e-mail has always been open to anyone who seeks it out.
This items are made per order by me personally. So if there is problem write me for a resolution ASAP and I will fix them at not cost.

As for Stelblitz, well I did PM you and stated that you pouches came back to me via USPS and they were damaged.
“Your package arrived at my house today, it was ripped up and retapped from the post office.
I'm going to re-box it and send via UPS
    Cheer
    Rob”
Which I did after the repair work was done and they went out via UPS like I stated via PM. I did PM you the tracking numbers.

Funny, you haven't updated the thread since the10th. Is it because this is the busiest time of the year?
And , you didn't state the pm on the 3rd.
    Or how good they looked.
The way I see it, I did a special run for you and got them done in half the time than first run.
    That's my side
    Cheers
    Rob

Yes, the belt was delivered on the 14th. I should have posted that and closed this thread at that time.

Rob, after numerous PM's that went unanswered from you, you sent me that reply on 12/3 that you mention of getting those items returned to you from the PO. I posted this thread 6 days later as I still didnt have them or any further updates from you. A day later, 12/10, you gave me a tracking number AFTER I started this thread.

And what are you talking about a special run? Nothing was mentioned of that too me. I ordered these BEFORE you closed your first run thread. I have PM's with dates confirming this. I even PM'd you confirming that my stuff was still on schedule the day I saw your closed run and you stated it was.

Since you want to showboat now, I'll do something I had no intention of posting, giving a review of the belt set. I was very dissapointed upon opening the box. The color of dye used is a not very good choice in my opinion. It in no way complimented my other Cruzer leather goods. I ended up redyeing everything of yours. The workmanship was subpar. I had 3 sides of the pouches that were not even attached towards the bottom. On two of them it was obvious that the side piece of leather was too small too fill the side of the pouch adequately for glueing. On a couple pouches there were visible gouges exposing the raw leather underneath.

Heres some feedback for other buyers: For the price, it was an OK deal, but do not expect a well assembled set of pouches. The old caveat, of you get what you pay for applies here. Also, do not expect the seller to keep his word on any shipping or delivery times.

  12. Dec 23, 2007, 3:29 PM - Re: Calling Out Robeewankenobe #12

I never stated that they would match Cruzer's leather. A member who received them did.
And per a posting form another thread
    http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=19197
    Foxbatklr wrote about the pouches
    "They aren't supposed to match."

So, you assumed they would match, something I never stated. Yes, the glue may have came apart. Those were the damaged ones that I tried to repair.
With out starting another run and taking more time I just repaired them.
Tell how many of them are like that and I'll send out replacement ones after the holidays.

As for dying them, per your PM you stated you were going to dye them anyway.
    Now, you're just flaming dude.
And it's even funnier that you want this tread closed before I replied back.

Look, we all have made purchases items sometimes take longer then expected. I purchased a gauntlet kit and it took longer than was stated and I understand that these are made at spear aside of our own personal lives.
    Cheers

Well, I think all I was saying is that the pouches shouldn't match the bolo cord. I just don't want what I said to be construed any other way.

The ONLY intention I had for starting this thread was to get my pouches, which it seemed to work since you miraculously got the message the day after starting this thread. I had NO intention of mentioning the condition or the quality of the belt. You escalated this thread initially, not me. I was gonna let it die and dissapear in the Sarlac Pit. You keep bringing me back into the thread so I'll make it my mission to inform potential sellers what kind of service and product they will get from you. Do you like that better?

What I meant by stating the color mismatch, is that the color you use is just plain wrong to what should be used. It is a pretty well known fact that the Cruzer leather colors are a great choice for accuracy. I know the different leather parts shouldnt be the same color, but the colors should compliment each other, as I stated. Yours do not. The first thng that came to mind when I saw you belt was orange. They had that much of a orange hue to them. I never stated I will dye the belt. In fact the messages I sent that I just read show a great concern that your belt complimented my existing stuff in color. No, I didnt ask you to dye the belt as specifc color, but don't try to avoid the problem that your belt color is not very accurate and the workmanship is poor.

You think I don't know about shipping? You need to get out and see how much stuff I sell at other boards with a plate that I bet is much fuller than yours. You commit to a deal and you need to deliver as promised. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR POOR COMMUNICATION AND LATE SHIPPING as you seem to be good at doing!!!!!!!!!!!! Your last statement is a real cop out Rob. I guess you follow the misguided belief that just because someone else has done it, its OK to do it yourself, even if it is not right.

No, I don't want any kind of replacement parts from you. I know you enough now to tell that I never want to deal with you again.
  15. Dec 24, 2007, 1:24 AM - Re: Calling Out Robeewankenobe #15

Wow those are some big pictures and I suggest you adjust your Hue. I want you to be happy but you assuming my color was going to match others is just wrong. Not to say you've seen pictures and I've made yours just like everyone else after the run was over. YOU, did not invest into the lot of leather like everyone else did.

"The ONLY intention I had for starting this thread was to get my pouches, which it seemed to work since you miraculously got the message the day after starting this thread"
No, I never saw this thread until yesterday and it's not miraculous I just sent them like I said I would. Which doesn't happen over night unless you pay for it.

But, ok then, just send the pouches back in the condition that I sent them. Once I get them I will give a full refund of $60 that you paid. It's that simple and easy. I would rather have someone happy in their costume than feel unsure of themselves in public.
    Cheers

You know, I really don't know what you are trying to insinuate by making it look that my belt was a special order. I was never made aware of it. I was never made aware that my price was less than anybody else's, I paid your posted price I believe and even have the PM where I questioned you if it is enough.

In those pics, the holster colors are spot on and also the girth belt. The belt was that orange. Regardless, I went out and bought some dye that I found out was used on my holsters, and darkened the belt and pouches some. I still have to do it more. It is starting to bring the colors together in harmony a little more.

No refund wanted at this point. You could not make me happy if you gave me double my money back. It's not about the money. For your price of $60, like I stated in an earlier post, the belt is an OK deal anyhow. It did not meet my expectations, but I should know better, that's why I typically stick to higher priced costume parts. I also guess it was also my expectations to be treated as a buyer as I treat my buyers, I hold them with respect and give them the courtesy in quick shipping and communicaitions as they deserve and delivering when I say.

I'm done with this thread. Theres nothing constuctive that can come from it at this point.
    Merry x-mas Rob.
