Calling all HOCKEY fans!!!

Same videos everyone sends me. haha. You are like a clone of every flyers fan I ever meet. There are dozens of "divers" out there. Do you forget, Scott, that regardless of the lame excuses you try to come up with for Crosby being bad, he is one of the best players in the NHL right now? Pittsburgh LOVES Crosby, he is an amazing asset to the team...


Thats a video my old highschool did in support for our team. Find me other areas that show that much passion. The only way you support your team is by degrading others... in this case, one that is significantly better than yours ;).

I'm curious as to when the people who hate crosby are going to start feeling foolish as he continues to grow and improve.

Here in Vancouver, my friends and I always get together to watch playoff games (even though I'm not a huge hockey fan myself), and every one of the people I watch the game with really hate Crosby... but at least they can understand that he's an amazingly talented player, and does a hell of a lot for his team and the NHL as well, and you can't really argue with the numbers you've posted there ;)
The sheer extent that Lucky is going to do slam Crosby and everyone who supports him indicates more insecurity than anything else, really.

I'm glad you guys atleast know he is a talented hockey player... I'm not saying you have to like Crosby... but wishing harm on a player is kinda silly Scott. haha... If he "cries" so what... he plays hockey, and he plays it well. I know where Scott is coming from... I'd be upset too if the last time my team won a stanley cup was what, back in 75? The best I ever see come from the Flyers is antagonizing.

Nickpocalypse, if the Pens dont take the cup this year, Im rooting for the nucks! I am a huge Luongo fan :D

BTW Crosby just scored a beautiful goal. 3-0 Pens right now. Feels great!

Um, ever hear of the "Flyers Wives Fight for lives"?? It's only the largest CARNIVAL in the NHL. I don't know how many millions they've raised, but they helped alot of people. Where's that $$ come from?? Fans like me, who attend every year. So, to answer your questions, the "other area" would be Philadelphia, hands down.

C'mon, it's playoff time! Enjoy the banter!! :) Been playing ice hockey for 20 years now, Maybe i'm old school, and it's me?? I prefer the harder nosed hockey over the finesse, and so do the majority of the guys of played with over the years. Just my opinion.....

FLYERS JUST BURRIED THE DEVILS. One step closer to PENS-FLYERS.
 
I prefer the hard hitting too. Ron Hextall is one of my fav goalies simply for his attitude. haha. He was so entertaining! I play hockey too man... its a blast.

We just stomped the Senators. I'd love to see the Pens and Flyers go at it.

Lets just drop the whole debate shall we? It's silly really.

Did anyone see Brodeur's amazing save tonight!? That was AWESOME!

Haha the nucks need all the support they can get, they're not looking to good in this series... dunno if you watched the game, but we had 6 guys to their 4 on the ice at the end and we couldn't even keep it in their zone :S:S:S

I grew up Idolizing Hextall, hence this is how I played goalie when I was younger :)


I actually served him and his family at my restaurant a few years back on xmas eve, was EPIC!.

Nope, I am retired unfortunately. I had 3 knee surgeries in 5 years because I kept blowing out my knee playing goalie so I said enough is enough and sold my gear. Now I am relegated to old man's beer leagues playing forward. Should of stuck with playing ice, never got hurt playing ice and all my knee injuries came from playing roller hockey because you can't slide side to side once you go down and lock your knees in the butterfly. I was a very active goalie and would be all over the place so I kept rolling over on my knee when it was in that locked position and pop, tore it all up. Couple other people landed on me when I was in the butterfly and ripped it up as well.

Now we just gotta get rid of the Sens...

Tim, I have noticed a lot of strain on my knees as well playing deck hockey... I honestly don't enjoy goaltending on deck. I just got new pads for Christmas and I get to finally break them in a little once summer break rolls around.

Now lets see the SENS force a game 7!!!

For me, my knees are fine after all these years in goal. It's been my lower back that gets me. Once or twice a year it's just "OUT"...
