Was thinking the same thing. I'll be bringing my wife and my daughter and make it a Disney/StarWars Celebration.
Disney World August 7-11
C5 August 12-15
Ack! Right in between SDCC and DragonCon!
Find someone in the Florida Garrison to mail your costume to. I had several people mail me their costumes and I drove them down to LA with them. I'm sure other people will be willing to help out like I did in 2007I've heard horror stories of shipping being as much as or more than airfare... I seem to recall hearing tales of shipping fees upwards towards $300 to $500 dollars on over-sized tubs! :confused
If I were to drive it, it would take me 2 to 3 days of all out driving to get to Orlando from Ottawa... airfare would be far cheaper considering todays gas prices. :facepalm
I'll just have to research the different airlines, and find out what the current limitations are for over-sized baggage. Hope they don't charge me into bankruptcy.
