brak's reference cd's

so brak's has the reference cd's back up for sale from the home page, and i've ordered the boba fett reference guide cd v 2.0, but now i'm wondering if i should have purchased the exhibits reference guide dvd. can anyone clue me in wether or not i should pm braks and then paypal him the extra 2 bucks for the exhibits guide dvd?

If you're looking for a CD to use as reference for painting, I'd say that's the one to get.

thats what i'll be using it for. have you been able to compare the two reference guides though?

does anyone else have any suggestions?

I would really like to see this answered as well. Are the pics on the Boba Reference Guide 2.0 also on the Exhibits DVD? Or are they completely different? And if they are different, do people normally buy both the CD & DVD?

The Exhibit CD is best for painting but if your hard core I would buy both! They have lots of good stuff on both that help with either ESB or ROTJ. If your doing a pre pro paint job then get the Ref CD v2.

Hi guys. The breakdown is basically this:

The Fett Ref CD is mainly publicity photos, rare, behind the scenes, photos, stills, HD screencaps from the movies... etc.

The Exhibit DVD is just what it sound like... hundreds of photographs of the suits display at the MoM and AoSW exhibit.

I have the ver 2.0 reference CD, and it is awesome, and really helped with my PP2 I suggest it to everyone to grab it!

I would recommend buying both. I got the ref. cd and now I'm going to buy the exhibit cd.

BTW, anyone have any comments on the Slave Leia cd pix? I'm thinking of getting it as well.

i ended up getting both as well. i'd say that it's a very worth while purchase. though i'd like to see them both on one dvd. maybe call it "the ultimate fett reference dvd"

I would love to do that.... the problem is, they won't fit. The Exhibits DVD has 4.2 Gb of pictures on it already and the Fett Ref CD has 670 Mb... Both are pretty well maxed out and I am actually considering upgrading the Fett Ref CD to a DVD so we can get a few more things on there... and possibly making the Exhibits DVD into a 2 Disc set!
