    Brak's Buddy's Ref DVD is gone, but the Ref lives on!

    As many of you know, thanks to some rather unfortunate events beyond our control, LFL brought the hammer down on our sales of the reference DVDs several months ago. It really bummed me out because it was the best way possible to get all the images we have amassed into your hands.

    However, I am now, slowly, working on uploading the contents of the Ref DVD to TDH's galleries. I already have content up for Boba Fett's Concept Art, Holiday Special, PP1 and PP2. More to come later. I know this is not as easy or convenient as having your own DVD but hopefully it will help you with your future projects!

    Guess I got my DVD just in time. Thanks for getting them up on the site too, nice to know they can be found in more than one spot once I get a chance to start wokring on my ESB.

    You guys are very welcome. I know it is a little more tedious to use the gallery than to surf your own DVD, but this is what we have.... I will have more up as I get them cleaned and get approval for the photos. If anyone has photos I don't have, please feel free to add them! I have a pretty good collection, but I am sure some of you must have some stuff I don't!

    Just out of curiosity, would there be any lines crossed if we institute a "Pay it forward" system? Although it's good of you to do what you're doing, it's surely exhausting a few resources with as big as those pics are

    Let's say a member needs a Ref Disk, and another member has one and he sends said member a copy, and the member that received it has to "pay it forward" the next time another member needs one. A running "sticky" thread much like the existing Karma Thread? NO money ever changes hands. No one profits. Obviously, someone has to start it off with the expense with no promise of a return to get it going. I'd be happy to head it up

    That sounds like a good idea to me! With the great success we have seen in the karma thread, I have no doubt that members would be more than happy "to pay it forward". I would definitely be interested in helping out.

    Chris, what you guys do "privately" is beyond TDH's ability to control. We were told to stop selling them so we stopped... If you guys decided to do a DVD "tree" behind the scenes... well... no one could stop you could they...

    Yeah, me too. Surely LFL's angst was due to the sale of the disk. Giving it away should not bother anyone.

    I still don't have one of these (yeah, slap my hands with ruler), but if someone wants to ship one my way I will make copies and get them to the local 501st GGG guys who are on the board here.

    Nonetheless, thank you Art for starting to put these up on the board. I know it's a lot of work.
