    Mar 16, 2009, 2:07 PM - Boston St. Patrick's Day parade #1

The 501st and Rebel Legion were joined for the first time by the Mandalorian Mercs at an event!

Unfortunately we weren't able to get a big group photo with everyone, but we do have a ton of pics here:

    http://www.501neg.com/photos/thumbnails.php?album=1066

This parade is a pretty big deal in Boston, so it's fun to be a part of it, particularly when it's 50+ degrees, sunny, and well patrolled by the Boston PD!

This looked AWESOME! I think we had a couple weeks to get people together form the invite, and Wampa Squad from Maine heeded the call. Next year you can expect to see more mandos backing up our 501st/RL brethern.

Thanks for having us out for the first of hopefully many great St. Patties parades!!

LOL dude there is no way you could get everyone in one frame from the pics I've seen of the event. 60+ Star Wars characters...thats just excellent, and we are proud to be part of it.

Was great!!! Temperature was very warm (anyways for us Canadians!!!) and people were well behaved.

I was the TB on the right kneeling down... Bob was already signed up as the Fett man.

Canadians were representing with 3 Rebels and 4 Imperials and 1 wrangler.

I was the most troops I ever saw.

Thats awesome. I'm just jealous because The Dropkick Murphy's will be hanging home in Boston for St Patty's.

the st pat's parade isn't float friendly... lots of sharp turns, narrow roads, and people out in the streets.

we had a hummer with r2d2 and c3po on a trailer, but that's about it.
