boba on tv

yeah, that's old news, and just one more reason not to watch it. seeing how more of fetts mystery dissapears will only destroy the character further. they messed up the original trilogy and they are at it again.

true no mystery to boba, depending how its done.

I agree that Fett's mystery is what made him. That is part of the reason I dislike and try to stay away from Fett in the EU.

personally I don't see anything wrong with the whole no mystery bit. Who cares, it doesn't make him any less a bad *** and it only gives me something to watch with my favorite character. It seems some people will complain if he's not in it and will complain when he is in it. I'm looking forward to it, and as long as they don't bring in Jar Jar, I'll be pretty happy.

Maybe they'll keep him that mysterious figure and show more why he is so awesome and why he is feared. I'd like him to be a man of few words and a lot of action. He better not take off his helmet...

I'd be all over that, but I'm up for anything, as long as the story is good, helmet or no. Personally I'd like to see a storyline with him and Sintas, the one they did in the comics.

I wonder what his costume is going to look like? Will it be any different? Rotj? ESB? Open a new door for Fett costumers perhaps? hmmm heh :)

I think the Holiday colors would be really cool, I mean Boba must have taken his fathers bucket and uses it to remind and drive him to COMPLETE TOTAL UTTER ABSOLUTE VICTORY over his prey. And I am sure he repaints it a few times thus the layers of colors seen through the weathering.

It would be kind of neat if they started with a HS type paint and then added to it and changed it to what is has become as they went along.

Well they did decide to show the progression from Phase I clone armour to Stormtrooper armour so it's safe to say someone in Lucas film was paying attention then, so it's possible someone will with Boba and his appearance (of-course they also showed they weren't paying attention in the Special Edition's with things like getting the shoulderbells the wrong way around so they may screw it up completely!)
As to boba taking his helmet off and some of the mystery remaining, we already know what he looks like, or will look like (to a degree) when he gets to Jango's age. We know where he's from and what happened to him during his formative years so what mystery is there that the TV show could destroy? Another thing is that very few actors will want to remain faceless with a helmet on when they are the star (or co-star) of the show. In the films it worked because we weren't seeing much of Boba, but when we got to see Jango we had to see his face in order to see him as more then just a faceless killer. We needed to connect to him and that's nigh on impossible if you don't know what he looks like under the helmet.
Look at Hollywood for examples: Judge Dredd - Stallone takes his helmet off (much to the chagrin of fans). Robocop - Takes his helmet off, hell! Even the predators take their masks off! And tv shows do it more then films. As far as I can see there is no reason for Boba not to take his helmet off, at least in this coming series.

i remember when Kane got unmasked.
haha wrestling.

everybody get's unmasked. every mystery gets ruined eventually.

we just are moving to an age where people don't want to have belief and question anything.

people need to see stuff.

sometimes it just sucks.

i hope that boba ends up in the new clone wars.....and yes i know some hate it but you gotta admit, any ep that deals with the clones is awesome, any ep with anakin SUXORS. and i agree holiday fett would be BA

Yeah, I don't know if I wanna see him in the new show or not. Part of me says 'yes', and then there's the part that thinks they'll mess it up. I haven't read much EU stuff, but take the computer games for example. By Empire, most of us think of him as being as one of the meanest dudes in the galaxy, but he's in a ton of games where you as the player, have to defeat him. And that's led to a fair few defeats! :(

Then if he's in this new show, possibly chasing down the main characters (who of course will have to get away because they're the main characters), Fett might end up looking like a useless idiot. Not good. :facepalm
