Boba Helmet!!!

Hey all,
I was just watching the clone wars episodes yesterday an in one of the episodes Jango Fetts bucket has a bomb in it and get blown into two pieces. I would have sworn that in the books Boba gets his helmet from his father... So how is it that boba just happens to get a dent in his bucket in the Exact place Jango did. I cant believe that they did this as it makes NO sense to me. Is there any explanation to this madness?

The dents aren't in the same place and this has been covered before if you search a little when that episode aired

The whole purpose of that episode in The Clone Wars was to clarify all the rumours about Boba wearing his father's helmet.
