Boba Fett WoodWork Art

hey all, as alot of you know, i am a high school Math teacher here in Oklahoma, and got some artwork from a student of mine that i just had to showoff... he is very skilled in wordworking, and did some Boba work for me, totally in his own time...i have been working on my fett since March of last year, so alot of my students have been following me in my progress, and are totally amazed at what goes into making this costume...they are totally amazed at everyone's skills here as well!! :thumbup well, this student went out of his way to do something nice for me, and i am just amazed at the detail he is capable of doing with a wood burning tool...so enjoy, and thanks for looking!

he will totally get a kick out of that, and he knows you are the master as well...

Man, that is some crazy coolness! I think I might have to give up photoshop and get out the wood burner! Tell em I said great job!

I never had a math teacher in High School that was building a Fett. I would have just been happy if they atleast liked Star Wars, unfortuntely I just had really mean fat old lady who had a glass eye but never spoke about it. God I missed out so much Anyway, tell the student great job! Sucking up never hurt anyone, at the end of the semester make his participation equal to 2 test scores.

Those three are so bang on cool Im well into no1 and no2. But being a High School Teacher myself; If a student did anything like that for me I'd be so blown away and he'd go right to the top of the class. Tell him I said great work and very well done.

thanks for all the kind words, guys, he is going to be blown away!! he has never shown off his work, i dont think, and he is very modest and quiet, so i just had to show him how awesome his work really is, and you guys are just awesome in your support! thanks a bunch!

well ya know...the kids have to pay for their 30,000 dollar cars somehow... just kidding, this kid is pretty humble...and MM, i think you are right, i bet he would do one customized for anyone interested in having some of his work...may need to get him on here and start an interest thread or something... we'll see, maybe i will test the waters a little bit and see if anyone is interested enough to pay money for his work...

Can't beleive i missed this. You have a talented student. Woodworking does does define the whole Fett theme. Ecspecially if it is handmade, I like the whole imperfect, rugged and scratchy look. Oh yeah, I love the 3rd one. The Bantha skull.

well, he did yet another one for me... i have an '07 DragonCon shirt, and the front of it is one of my favorite Boba images...so, i had him do one of these with that image, and it turned out fantastic!!! here ya go guys...

Oh, man, that kid is awesome. He got the helmet dead on - something Hasbro seems to still have trouble with. And I love the one of just the death head.
