Those helmets are a lot of fun for kids, but lousy if you are serious (ie a big kid / adult). My son has the trooper and the Vader.
Yeah, my son and my nephews should go wild over them. Even they know Boba is the coolest. ;)
I sure hope they do the ESB style! Stay tuned I guess...
ESB helmet and ROTJ blaster...... cause everyone knows SE Fett is the coolest way to go. lol

Just want to add that a gun is blacked out on the bottom of the box. It could be the EE-3. And on a side note, this thing would be difficult to mod for costume use because you would have to resculpt the cheeks entirely due to the bigger visor.

I read it on the box, ex-sniper, 20/15 vision. Gave me a helluva headache, though. Also, the box says that the RF lights work, and it has a voice amp feature.
The visor being widened for kiddie play has resulted in a visor frame that is waaaaaaaaay too high vertically. To mod it, you'd have to completely cut out the cheeks, move the cheek curve up to where it should be, and that will go up past the bottom edge of the visor opening, which will screw up the helmet's structural integrity... Yeah, no. Pity. After how good a starting point the Clone helmet was, I was hoping for better with this one. :(

The mockup was the "helmet" displayed in the box (which was also a mock up). This is the real deal. Compare to any of the originals. Here's the ESB:

You are right... it will cost less than the Rubies and will actually be a nice kid's helmet (large visor, quotes, etc.) I'm sure someone will modify it for their regular helmet too.Quote:

The Visors no different in the EYE area than the Rex helmet theres probably some sort of safety Standard they have to obey.
Here's a real quick mock up done by a guy over at Mercs. Useable for a Fett build... no, not an adult or a TDH/501st quality kit. Useable for a custom Mando, sure.

The AT-AT was sweet, I'm sure it's gonna cost $100 + though lol. But what I REALLY want is the Cpt. Rex that was standing behind the AT-AT walker.

The artist who was commissioned to do the artwork, Steve Anderson is a licensed Star Wars artist. I happened to be Facebook friends with him and noticed a post by him one day looking for Boba Fett costumers who had hi-res images of themselves in costume. He was tired of working up paintings based off the same photo references that everyone else has used for years. He wanted different poses, etc... Since I had done two photo shoots in my fett costume (this particular photo taken by none other than our very own Art Andrews) I sent them in. Steve loved them and immediately asked me if he could use my pictures whenever he needed Boba to be in a project of his. I agreed and there you have it!Quote:

I'm looking forward to customizing this helmet. I bought the Hasbro Rex helmet and I customized it. Some were upset that I messed around and merged a clone helmet with Mando armor but once I get this helmet I think I will be ok.
