After 20 plus years of school and having earned a B.S. and M.S. in aerospace engineering, I finally found a job working for a rocket development company in Huntsville Alabama, which means I am now a car carrying rocket scientist.
This is a big change for me, and I am honestly terrified right now. Unlike school I will need to make a product, deal with budgets and supervisors, and move out of state. While I am excited, it is a little nervewracking that everything is about to change in a little more than a week.
One of the changes I am happy about, however, is that I will have an income, which means that I cannot only start working on my costumes again, but I will finally be able to start keeping them! It also means I will be able to find funds for travel, so some of us will finally get a chance to meet in the not to distant future.
Just felt I would share the news, because TDH is one of the few things I can hold onto as I begin a new future, and honestly while I have never personally met any of you, your help and input on my costumes has always gotten me through even the most hecktic, uncertain times.
