Thanks for the great comments guys, that really fills this thread with great messages.
Please keep it a little eh... normal.
the blade itself needs some extra paint and probably some blood painted on it.
You nailed it! Looks very good. Could you make a picture of you wielding it?
No sorry, I donnot have the gauntlet ready yet. I' ll be working on that the follow 2 weeks or something. Once the gauntlet is finished I' ll put a clip on youtube or something!!
Whoa.. that looks sweet.
Well, like everyone before me has said, that's fantastic work, bro. Absolutely outstanding.
Just the base gaunt. The detailed armor pieces have to go over these parts.
Also, the blade can be extended further, but I donnot have put on the definitive string or the ring that should go on it.
You even cut off your finger! This must mean a lot to you
Looks great so far!
My Ezio is progressing as well
Ok, having recently finished this game and loving it, I am pretty tickled to see someone working on this! Looking forward to seeing more progress.
I have to admit, that in terms of costuming it's not something I've never done before. But life is extraordinarily busy at his point and it's gonna get way much busier in the upcoming year. So it's nice to work on something that is... fun to do. Even though it's not ground-breaking or anything. It has loads of pockets, leather works, weapons and it leaves room for some nice action poses for pics... Sounds fun to me
Looks fantastic! I really like the solution for the hood as you nailed the look!
That means alot!! It was much work to get it to look this way, with a lot of sewing and cheating on techniques... but it worked!!
I finished the gauntlet, the end bit of this clip shows the thing as it is now:
Not much progress, though I have begun to work on the red sash that is behind the waist belt itself. It's taking forever to complete this thing...
Perhaps not the first choice of material when thinking about a leather part, but I think it' ll be fine once I' m done detailing it and painting it.
painted and stuff:
I' ve done the waist belt and the sash, came out ok
By far... one of the best AC costumes I've seen! Nicely done! Looking forward to the final.
This looks great so far! love the wrist blade.
@forcebewithya: I realised this... a while ago, but I think we have up to 3 or 4 costumes now of the same characters...
It' s not on-purpose, I hope you donnot mind... for one thing I have to admit you have great taste!!! :P
I meant to ask you something though. One thing I LOVE about your costumes is how your metal bits always look a bit rusty what method do you use to give it that effect. I usually weather my costumes but usually with darker black colors.
