ASOK - Bill Warren Update - All Please read!

RIP

To me, Bill seemed to be emblematic of this community. I never had the pleasure of personally meeting him, but I never once saw anyone with anything but good things to say about him. In my own exchanges with him, I could tell that he was incredibly passionate about this hobby and his friends here. Plus, he made a **** good helmet. Such a great craftsman and an all around good person. He helped a lot of people love this hobby as he did and I think that's incredible.

I didn't know him personally, but from what I've seen and on here and heard from others he was one of the great ones and will be missed. Condolensces to his family and friends right now.

Things that Bill has done and said will be passed on for generations to come. He has most certainly left his mark on this group and this hobby in general. A great loss indeed. Please honor him. May the force be with him. May his family be watched over and blessed as we have from his presence.

I'm so sad to write this as my first post here on TDH... I got a helmet from Bill only a month ago... he was such a nice and helpful person... my deepest condolences to his family... Rest in peace Bill...

My thoughts and prayers go to bill and his family. He will not be forgotten for all the great things he has done for this community.

I found out this sad news from a friend while some of us are here at celebration Europe, I would like to express my deepest sorrow at this news and my thoughts and prayes go to (bill's) asok's friends and family at this time, the dented helmet And Rpf has lost one of it loved sons. Sleep peacefully mate from us all here at CE2.

Sad day, but grateful that he is no longer suffering. Got family near him, remember talking to him awhile back on dropping by on my next visit to meet. Will never get the chance now. Still have some of his messages in my inbox. Reading them now, gets my eyes a little teary, even though they are just a few short back and forths about nothing. His last one talked about finally building his own bucket after all these years. I hope you get the best bucket of all when you get to the other side buddy. RIP

This is the saddest news. I never spoke to Asok but have always seen his threads and posts over the past few years so know what an impression he has made to The Dented Helmet.

Hands down one of the finest brothers in this hobby, whose untimely passing will forever be an irreparable dent to this community and the spirit of camaraderie he championed here. :(
