Dude those are awesome! Will you make the Salem mask also? this was a great game despite negative reviews. I see you're making them with rubber, are you wanting to make these functional for airsoft or paintball, or just an awesome display piece? Looks great can't wait to see the future of your project! Oh and who do you think is the best rapper in the Wu Tang Clan?

this was my take on the "skull mask" not accurate however i did the sculpt befor the game came out with really ****** pictures but i like yours
Thanks Kanol, Your mask looks great , seeing it helped me figure some detail points out on mine , I was limited on artwork myself .
To answer the other questions ,I don't know much about rapp so I can't say much about that, I think the mask should be made functional, I'm looking into the different materials as far as High Impact Resins and padding , Should turn out pretty nice. As far as the other character we'll wait and see how this one do'es .;)
would this be suitable for airsofting? My friends and I use ballistic masks, actually some punk stole them from the car ;___; so it wuold be used to...

I don't know from army of two either, but I know a nice sculpture when I see one. It has a lot of "personality".

A few adjustments to the clay for the strapping placement and it goes into rubber by Friday.
I'll pull some test castings and get them posted , I don't know the exact color this mask needs so if anyone wants to help out let me know.:)

I'm found some time to start casting some AOT Masks this week so I'm doing a run of 5 raw casts, Cast and trimmed ready for paint $75.00 shipped for TDH Members.

Would you be doing a run of "unblemished" masks in the future?
If by unblemished you mean the mask worn by the other character in the game the answer is Yes , I've allready started the parts collecting and basic sculpt. i'm going to try and have it ready very soon . If all goes welll it should be a heck of a project:D

The headstrap shown is a spare from my S10 NBC gas mask. it does not come with the mask...FYI. 8)
That said, i'm still gonna be modding it just a little, to allow it to handle rough usage. :lol More pics will be up once I get that done and strapped.

Hey Darth Clouds The masks are made of casting resin and are a few mm thick that can be backed up with Fiberglass , Infamy69 take your time I can make one for you when ever your ready.:)
Can someone take a pic of a finished mask with them wearing it? I'm just curious to see what it looks like on persons face...

Hey Tim , Say just wanted to let you know that I just recieved the Iron Man helmet in the mail today :) and with in 15 minutes i was in the shop prepping it for the build. This is going to be a fun project I'll keep you posted as it progresses.

Managed to dremel out the strap slots, clean it up with a hand file and had it painted. Slotted in my Avon S10 straps and it works great! Just need 2 more triglides for the lower bit. ;)

Halo_1, do you have any pics of how you padded it on the inside? Also, how's your vision when wearing it? From looking at the earlier pictures I was afraid the eye holes might be a little far apart, but with pics of someone actually wearing it, it looks better.

Actually, I test fitted the mask on Sunday without any padding. Best way to find out what needs to be padded via long usage. :)Quote:

I'll be padding the forehead area, maybe the temple and as well as the cheeks. The forehead and temple is to provide some comfort to the forehead [not really an issue actually but...]and absorb the sweat that will definitely be rolling off your face, loaded out as you will be. I had a shemagh on so that absorbed most of my sweat.
The cheek padding will be done because I had quite a bit of pressure on my cheekbones from the strap tension [I have prominent cheekbones]. So I'm hoping the padding will help cut down the pressure and the rosy cheeks...if not, I'll have to rethink the entire strapping setup.

Hey Tim the pics look Great you really pulled it off . I did the padding for mine on just the forehead and cheek's and it works pretty well but I believe it will be different for everyone.

Hello TDH ,After a Two week melt down of both my Shop and Computer everything is up and running again :cheering. The Army of Two mask ( Salem ) is in rubber with the first castings to be pulled Saturday night after work I'll post some pics as soon as possible.
