    im new to armor building and would like to know what to make my armor out of, cardboard, sheet metal, or something else. thanks

    any of the above is possible...start using the search function at the top of the screen...if you read what others have done you can have a better underestanding of what works and what doesnt work...using the search with advanced settings searching in just the title of armor builds and such

    Really depends on how much you want to spend on your costume. Cardboard is probably the cheapest solution...

    Cardboard is probably the worst solution as well, if your going cheap you might as well make the garbage can armor

    Also true. Only go with cardboard if you have absolutely no other choice...

    what do you know how to work with? sheet metal can be awesome looking if you know how to work it. if you don't, it looks like a ffolded piece of sheet metal

    use your strengths. if you don't know how to work with any materials, expect to spend time on it and goof up a bunch of times.
