Anyone seen or spoken to Ruffkintoy?

Hey guys ..well i dunno if this is good news or bad new but never the less ,since chuck got banned due to no items to sum of us on here after he gave some of us excuse after excuse .

I had a word with chuck on the hunterslair.com after he failed to to replie to my emails ,anyway down to brass tacks,basically i post few comment to chuck addressing the matter on my item from him ,3 hours later to my amazement he replie back to me on the boards ......:facepalm hmmm wonder why he can replie to a board but not emails ???

Im happy to say he replied to me on there since he didnt answer my emails.

Maybe ..i say maybe thinggs could be !!!.. looking up as hes stated he will be sending me an email with a tracking number on friday/saturday :facepalm

Apparently he got his car in trouble and cant do any sending out items till the weekend .

Anyways i will keep you guys posted on this later and let you know if chuck really does pull thru

In a pm he said sorry to me but things got hectic for him and stuff .

He also told me he will get other orders out this coming friday/saturday.

It not just us guys here at TDH he been playing tricks on but also at thehunterslair.com

well, after 6 months of "air" from Chuck for a flightsuit i bought from him, i got the flightsuit, and really, wish i didnt...it was a lousy excuse for a flightsuit...i made light of it when i told him i got it, i was just happy to get something...i felt like a clown wearing it...i was given excuse after excuse, promised that it was finished and that a tracking number was being given in a few hours, and nothing...then was told he was getting it shipped in a few days...???? just run around...(n) i wont ever recommend him to anyone, and surely wont buy from him again...not worth my time and money...my gauntlets were so bubbled i had to basically redo them...just a complete inconvience...

I'm soooo glad he finally got the boot. I was trying to have a descent costume for Comic-Con this year. I orderd my pre-pro gauntlets from him since no one else was selling any...IN THE FIRST WEEK OF APRIL. I sent him email after email after email, every time with him giving me a response of "i'll be shipping it out next week." guess when I got it. THREE freaking days before I left for the convention, which was over three months from when I purchased them. So, I had to bust my butt to get those things finished before I left, and I barely did. I actually only got 2 hrs of sleep the night before I left since I was finishing them. Good riddence for no more Ruffkintoy.
 
Well, I feel like a "sucker". It took me 8 months to get my stuff and the shape that they arrived in are so bad that I decided to put them aside and get me a pair of gauntlets from MOW. I'm so glad I did, the quality of MOW's gauntlets are A1 (worth the money).

I have never heard of someone like Chuck that has had so many mishaps, problems and just plain bad luck in my life. I just don't realize how he could have gone from a first class reputation to such an unreliable resource for getting props.

Quality, communication, promptness, organized and professional are not what I would refer to Ruffkintoys as if someone asks me. This is my personal opinion and my personal experience from dealing with him.

In the end, I did receive my things, but I still hope that he comes through for the others that he is stiffing. We deserve better when it comes to our hard earned money instead of flushing it away.

If my post here comes across as being too blunt and inappropriate please take it off. However, I feel future buyers need these things to read.

you shouldnt have to feel guilty about making sure this experience doesnt happen to another member...what Chuck is doing is stealing from people, taking their money for an item that isnt worth 5 bucks and getting over 100 bucks for it...people need to know what is going on, so thank you for posting your experience with this seller...(y):cheers
 
I, too have not gotten a response since November '07 regarding my gauntlets he promised to have done and shipped to me by Christmas. I have sent several emails and have gotten no response.

I really do just wish he would contact the people. All it takes is two minutes to let everyone know what's going on. If it's going to be 6 months, then at least be up front even if you have to tell us now.

I had the opportunity to buy from MOW but had gotten, ironically, a quick response from Ruffkintoy with pictures showing me his work, and he was cheaper, so I went with him.

I am currently not as upset as some other people, so I wish he would contact me before I give up on him.

But I wanted to share my story. Here's hoping we all get answers and good product delivered to us soon.

Wow. Away from the boards for a while and look what happens. Seems theres a lot of this creeping up on here lately. Its even sadder to see something happen with Ruffkintoy. He seemed to be where most people turned to in order to fulfill their needs when they just couldn't afford the extra for MoW's and BM's.

Feels kind of like the end of an era or something:(

Reaper i did a email account test valiadtion on Chucks 3 email address ..with some software .
and all 3 come up as still active.
Heres the 3 address for you .
One is diffrent hence the Capital R.

I sent him a few emails now using the bottom 2 addresses. I even said I would post this issue on all the SW sites I'm a member of to show his unwillingness to complete paid orders. But as you can guess I haven't received no replies in any form. Oxygen thieves like this drive me nuts! I just hope karma visits him real soon!

Has anybody gotten their items? In theory, the would have gone out 9 days ago. So, even in regular mail, they should be to you by now.

the guy is full of it. i heard from him about a week after he got suspended from this site. same "i am mailing them tommorow and i will send you a tracking number".

guess what, no tracking number.
 
Its possible GCNgamer to get the police involved since he owes us our stuff ,and since im in the UK and chuck is in the usa ,there is nothing my local police can do :(
