hey guys - I seem to be having a run of lost items :(

anyone know citizen_snips (Dan from US)?
I kinda know him from previous pm's - so it isnt a complaining post

just tryin to contact him regarding a 1-2-1 sale which has not turned up (having been posted in Nov 2008) and wanting to make a insurance claim against USPS for it.

been tryin across several boards and even emailing him direct with no luck.

I know he has been hit hard with the whole economy thing, and hasnt been even on here since early Nov 2008. but if someone who knows him can get in touch I would be most greatful. thanks.

Nate

Wow... I recall when you PM'd me about this months ago. I quickly sent him an email (as Admin of the CE forum), but he never wrote me back.

hey mike - aye, u can only do so much, and one can live in hope huh :D

appreciate that u did that on my behalf, but its a funny old game this whole prop collectin thing

right guys - writing off the lid now.
feelin a little foolish as well as I always assume the best in people, and tend to be careful with my purchases.
never took it up with Paypal as Dan had said he was a little short on cash etc etc etc, needed more time and he had been ok with previous buys.

but seriously - its been more than 2 months now, with no reply to pm's, emails or contacts via paypal. no helmet. no shippin info. no luck.

I know Dan was goign through a bad patch - and hopefully thats all there is to this.
Until he comes clean I guess, its best to say I am been cheated out of USD150. Others be warned pls.

any1 in NY who can help me get in touch with Dan I would appreciate it. pm's only as this is the final word I have on this matter. mod's pls lock this thread afters. thanks.

just one of those things in this hobby huh :D

This is getting out of control. I've seen more deals gone bad on TDH lately than I care to count. Folks, let this be a lesson to us all... even though we consider ourselves family here on TDH. Make sure you know who you're dealing with ahead of time and make sure you do your research.
