I know Darren (TK1068 ) has one. He did a demo at the C4 TDH dinner ... pretty impressive!
Yep, I have one.
Feel free to shoot me any questions you may have.

I followed Gator Fett's instructions except for
1) need to use a flexible hose to get it through the "jets" on my Ruffkin
2) went with a push button instead of a toggle on the gauntlet
The garrison seems to like it and I love it. Makes me laugh every time I hit the button.
Just so you are aware, the pressure for the CO2 paintball is 800 psi - per the local paintball store. I have access to lots of valves/equipment but the valve Gator mentions is the only one I saw (stopped checking after a while) that could handle 800 and run on dc voltage. It was on backorder in Jan but arrived within 3 weeks.

Doh! yes i did.. for some reason i thought you were a new poster adding to the thread...
So, i have to be aware if the valve/solenoid, can handle the pressure of the C02 tank?
Speaking of "working" jet packs.. anyone knows if there are any scientists out there, trying to create actual jet packs? If so, I'd like to donate to that wonderful cause!![]()
I actually used this as a harness.

I sewed on a couple of straps for the JP on and then changed the hooks to backpack clips and connect it to the belt. I wore the JP for 2 hours and was comfortable....but yes I did notice it when I took it off. My fat belly helps keep the belt down tight. If you lack girth it may not work as well for you.
why not also use a smaller tank? that tank was pretty big they do make smaller ones about half that size
Yes they do...![]()
