Still waiting, been about 6 weeks for me.
Darrel DePreist was on a special "collecting" Forcecast podcast about 3 weeks ago. He said that there were lots of reports of damaged packages and figures caused by the mail carriers . So, they were working on a repackage that was stronger but not expense, causing a bit of delay....
Still no figure here. ANYONE gotten theirs??
No![]()
waiting for 2
granted, I ordered later than most though.
In true internet fashion, it was waiting for me when I got home:

Dang I may have to break down and collect some figs and send away for this.
heh I didn't even bothewr with this. I have the original one in a case that I bought for $5. just missing the rocket and gun.
do you have to send in the UPC from specific figures or can they be any figs from the series that are specified
Well I got two of the three I sent in for today. Only took them 10 week.lol
So anyone wanna tell me do they have to be specific figures?
Not specific figures, just from specific groups of figures
Awesome I thought so. Time to send for mine too, maybe next year lol. Can you mail for multiple ones or did u do them seperately?
I bought my pops on ebay too lol
Mine came in a few days ago
Basically, it's the figures with the Boba sticker on them. AFAIK, they are the legacy figures from the movies (not the cool Clone Wars figures). Target here in VA generally has a better price on them than places like Walmart or K-Mart. Based on what I see, you have until 3/31/11 to send off for it. Although I'm not sure I would wait that long.

PS- Yes, I must admit to collecting toys at 35.
Here's a PDF of the form. It lists which action figures qualify for the UPC

Oh and don't let Hasbro fool you. It's not just the mail carrier that has had issues with damaging the figures. I've had figures replaced because they were absolutely mangled in the box and the box itself was fine (eg. it was damaged either before or as it was packed). They've been having these types of issues for sometime and there were some high-end collectors that got really up in arms with them over their lack of quality control. Even their mail order Bobas were coming in pretty curb stomped. I recently had an order replaced because I had bought some figures for my nephew and they looked like someone had played kickball with them and then given them to Stewie for a few days. However, know that Hasbro has a track record here recently of making good on these replacements.

I was lucky because my buddy picked me one up at C5. It was just in a white thin box (fairly sturdy though). Not sure how he got one there but he did.

MAN dont get me started I wanted one of the gentle giant ones 12" tall rocket firing bobas, but you had to get in line and the line formed before us normal people could get in the place therefore no giant RF Boba for me unless I wanted to pay double...Spidey got one it was SWEET lookin
You would think that a toy company would realize that this forum would be the perfect place to market stuff like that. I guess it's too close to a good idea. I know for sure though that they'd likely sell out of them here.
Brad
LOL, this guy is selling them, but ruined them all by punching the cardbacks .

Some of them have been reported as having been punched on arrival as are the boxes they send to stores. It seems to be random. I order a full set a month or so ago and when I got it from Hasbro, they were punched.
Brad
Any idea how much hes selling em for? Worth no sending away for it?
Just buy the POPs on ebay & include a check for $6.99
Star Wars Rocket Firing Boba Fett mail away form +5 UPC - eBay (item 280594537889 end time Dec-05-10 08:01:52 PST)
$16.99 total
can't beat that with a stick
I have POPs lol just dont really feel like dealing with waiting haha...I think Ill have to just wait
My figure arrived in the mail the other day, great condition. It came in a cardboard sleeve, within another cardboard mailer box.
yeah I got my two the other day as well. not too bad. I had bought the proofs and form for 7.00 on ebay and just added the 6.99 or whatever. I'm a sucker for these type of premiums..lol
I got mine about a week ago. I actually keep the card backs from all the figures I have collected, and have enough UPC's for the offer. I think a couple of mine were not the figures that were supposed to be used, but they worked anyways. Mine came double boxed in mint condition and not punched. Got a comparision to a vintage figure. As you can see, it is slightly larger, but I can't remember if the vintage rocket firing version was larger or not. I was one of the unlucky ones who mailed away for a vintage rocket firing back in the day, only to sell it in a garage sale with my entire vintage collection many years ago, when I outgrew SW. Fortunately I came back, and re-collected most of my vintage collection. Although I will probably never have a vintage firing Fett again, I am really glad to get this. Want to order another to open now. Something funny? Not recommended for children under 3 on the sticker. Ages 4 and up on the card. What if your kid is exactly 3?-

Did I hear correctly in another thread that these are going to start showing up in stores sometime in May or June?
Definitely not in the US. Exclusives distribution is different in Europe so it may be happening in another country.
