Any bike guys?

Just thought I'd show this if anyone's interested. Just finished lacing it.

I am a bike guy. Road and mountain. I have not been riding much lately. I ride the road and race XC or at least I did in the past. Man I gotta get back on the bike........

I have always noticed the saddles in the background of some of your pics and figured you worked somewhere of quality. (Walmart doesn't carry Brooks) If you are lacing up a Phil Wood rim set it probably isn't going on a Next or a Huffy.

cycling is some of the best therapy ever invented. Nothing like a 60 mile ride to get your mind right.

Now those organ donor contraptions are another story. With my job I have a strong opinion on those, and it is totally based on facts presented to me over the past 14 years (both good and bad).

I will stick with my road and mountain bikes, and enjoy watching the greatest athletic adventure on the planet which starts on July the 2nd.

And as far as boats go.........haven't you heard the two greates days in a boat owners life, the day he buys it and the day he sells it.

The Tour de France starts.................like you didn't know..lol

You should see how hard it is at work when the sport I like has absolutely no following and no one understands the tactics and issues that go into it. I have indoctrinated some so that they understand enough to have a conversation with me, but they are few and far between. I usually have to try to use NASCAR as an analogy (and I know little to nothing about car racing). They usually start to understand the drafting and the fueling difficulties with that analogy. It is just with a human body instead of a machine, and they have to do it for 23 days straight with out a major mistake, because the winning margin will be well under 1% of the overall time.

For twenty three days men race bikes around France in thier underwear. Whats not to love?

I like those sorts of things. Most people think I am nuts but I love to test myself and my endurance. Just to say to myself that I did it.
