I know the CD player part within the Laser Disc player works. Let me test the whole player, its been years since I"ve run a LD in the machine. I"ll test it tonight.

The chick that sings for my band just showed me something her fiance has been hiding for 13 years. He has a film reel preview of The Phantom Menace that he swiped when he worked at a theater in '99. It's still sealed in the original packaging. He's afraid to put it on ebay because like all movies, it was not the property of the theater, and they were supposed to send it back. I told her that he probably doesn't have to worry... if it's just a preview roll, and no one investigated the loss back then, no one's looking for it now.
